очень хорошо это рабртает, если после вашего пресета поставить BLEASS ARPEGGIATOR . Кстати, хотелось бы увидеть от вас обзор на него. Он очень крутой. Может быть вам удалось повторить его в Grid.

Thank you so much for this! I am really loving this series of harmonic tools. People (me) spend a lot on chord creation VSTs, and invariably find some aspect of them that disappoints. Can you think of a way that you could adapt this preset to allow different intervals within any chord voicing? What I mean is, instead of just a stack of fourths, for example, you could have a stack of fourths with a major third on top? "So What?" you may well ask!

IDK about Bach, he would be glad to use anything with arpeggiator IMO, but someone like Claude Debussy definitely would.

Another great trick. Just one thing: Thirds come to shine, when they are chromatic. Try it, you know the sound for sure 🤘

thanks for this. wondering why a pitch scaler wouldn’t work in place of the wrapping? maybe bitwig should add a “wrap notes” option in the side panel.

Hey, I have a question... Does this only work if the "voices" parameter in the NoteGrid are set to Mono? The reason I ask is that when I attempt to do something like this myself .. with no MIDI assistance.. on the piano , The one luxury I have that this patch doesn't is that I am not limited by the limitation that only one MIDI note can control this patch at a time. However when I try other values besides "Mono" .. then it just sounds terrible, because notes in chords that I would expect should be ringing out, get stopped .. un-naturally when a 2nd or 3rd key is pressed simultaneously.. Try it.. set voices to 12.. so plenty of voices are available .. then play and hold a key.. then play and hold a 2nd key and eventually lift the 1st key.. You will hear voices abruptly cut off .. that shouldn't happen. Is there any strategy to fix that behavior?

I don’t fully understand the question because the entire point of the patch I showed in the video was that you only need to press one note, and from that single note, multiple notes are generated. That was the whole idea behind it. If you want to use the Note Grid polyphonically, that’s totally possible. However, if you stop pressing any notes, no more notes will be generated - the notes will simply stop. Whether notes ring out or have a release is more of a decision tied to the synth patch or the synthesizer you’re using. You’d adjust the release setting on the synth to prevent the sound from cutting off abruptly. So, I’m not sure if you’re referring to the Note Grid itself or the behavior of the Poly Grid or an instrument where sound is being generated. If you’re talking about the Poly Grid or a synthesizer, there’s an option in the Poly Grid called something like "Affect voice lifetime" on the "audio out" module. It lets you define what happens to a voice when it’s deactivated - whether the sound fades out gradually or stops abruptly. The FX grid has "auto gate" in the inspector. Hopefully, that clears up the confusion!

The Pitch-12 could also be used to get out of the purely diatonic chords, but that would be a lot more hit or miss...

oh yea, just pitch 12 on the diatonic transposer in combination with a multi note. so many options...

No he would chose Cubase but for the sake of Bitwig's ability to over modulating the hell outta modulating modulators, Maybe.
