Did a nice pair of trips yesterday in the 2022 Enyaq iV 80 Sportline - 5 miles/kWh average with stretches higher - so already even at 16C 400 miles is possible (644km) This is two model years old now so I think that's pretty good :)

It's amazing how Nyland arrives at 218 Wh/km on the 120 km/h test at a similar temperature (line 366 in his spreadsheet). I also experienced that the rough asphalt in Scandinavia raises consumption considerably. Thanks for testing!

Love our long range, rear wheel drive polestar 2. I haven’t tried the self steering. We have the fabric seats and no problems with them. Will be interested to see what range we get in the summer.

Would you say the single motor version is good enough in the winter / snow?

-_-_- I own a Tesla mod 3 , this vehicle is definitely better looking , don’t know about the mechanical performance 😮

I leased a model 3 and now have The Polestar AWD. the finish is infinitely better and it drives like a sports car.. Auto steer is definitely better in the Tesla and the stereo system system in the Tesla is better too

I have my P2 Performance from the beginning and it is still as new. The Harmon Kardon sound system is top notch while it performes like a super sports car. I've raced Porches on tracks and know how to drive. Though the roads aren't always as good as I like here in Sweden, the P2 surprises me every day. Mechanics are very sturdy, almost no degradation of the battery, and no rattles or squeaks. I love the car!

is it better than ID.4 GTX 2024 model?

iD4 is a different type of car. Much larger.

You redeemed yourself a little bit with this video Chris, maybe I will resub - lol. I love, love my Polestar but I’m a smaller person with just one dog, and I love the drive, design, tech and efficiency of my P2 RWD here in Australia. Here I get well into the 400s but my average speed is usually closer to 100km/h and it’s hot. Watch my endless roadtrip videos to see how you do it in a P2 in Australia!

I’m thinking that ID7 just has PS2 beat due to mainly cabin space, and that ‘transmission tunnel’. Though, no doubt, Polestar is well made and the Google software is amongst the best there is! I’d be happy to have either on my drive, but I am leaning towards the Tourer ID7 at moment in LR/86 spec.

@wolf-dieterschulz-engelke8598 what he is referring to; he has already done range tests of the ID.7 in winter at lower temperatures than this.

My LRSM MY24 is giving me 20kWh/100mi or 5mi/kWh atm. Quite pleased, but let’s see what happens in the winter 😬

I just don't understand why some brands / people report efficiency as a "gallons per mile" EV equivalent. Does any manufacturer report mpg as gpm for its ICE models? Why do we do this with EVs? Just give km per kWh (or miles per kWh), then we can do simple multiplication to figure out the approximate range, given the battery's usable capacity.
@simondehaas87846 ай бұрын
I assume you're in the UK? I think we are fairly unique using mpg. Most of Europe uses litres/100km. For EVs the European method is actually better because it makes more intuitive sense for gaining energy through regenerative braking (negative kWh/mile consumption) whereas a negative mile/kWh figure makes no intuitive sense.
@swecreations7 ай бұрын
With that kind-of range at 130 km/h it could probably go close to 600km at 90 km/h.

I’m used to the VW sports seats (also used by Cupra etc) and these Polestar seats were definitely not to my taste
@wolf-dieterschulz-engelke85987 ай бұрын
the normal seats are not so slippery than these leather seats.
@j.e.000013 күн бұрын
The seat is great, it's not slippery, it has enough side backrest. Don't be itchy, you complicated head. Don't talk bad about what's good, just for the pleasure of talking and having to say something in the video.

25% of the pre retail VAT price is British government anti-China Tariff taxation drenched in bigotry and mental illness. Plus another 20% VAT. It is the UK government that makes EVs expensive.

Right off the top, leaving the parking lot, and the reason I do believe these controls need to be banned. Eyes off the road to adjust something on the screen. Simply dangerous. Also a sign of how Volvo lost the safety plot years ago
