*LOVE* the car. But which average car owner can live with a light interior color like that? The seats and doors would have visible dirt marks, stains, spills and so on - from kids, pets, shopping, life...

Batch , my dear fellow, at 8.06 you mean “accentuated” …not “exacerbated”. ‘Acerbus’ is harsh or bitter in Latin. The raised console heightens or places a greater ‘accent’ on sportiness: hence “accentuated”. I presume you feel this design is a plus point to the P4 ? Too bad Polestar has priced this far too high. Lovely car, but overpriced. If Polestar is going to fight for customers, then they have to change the price. I have a Polestar 2, love the car. But it is a bit small. I was hoping Polestar would price the Polestar 4 close to the Tesla Model Y. But no, it costs 15,000 US more than the Tesla Model Y. That makes the choice difficult. Yes, there is more luxury in the Polestar 4, but not at that price

It’s not supposed to sell to much at the moment. Will be sooner or later. Polestar only have the polestar 2 at the moment for sell so off course they ain’t sell in to much at the moment. Also it’s a super model design luxury car brand so will only sell to the ones who got money and wants the meat.

There safety is from Volvo and they are in production in china where the cars starts sell in then to Europe and USA. Everything is done in china or is from china.

The car isn’t for you then. All good. The car is for the ones who can afford it it’s a luxury’s car with the design and Volvos safety so it’s a special car for the ones who can afford it. It’s not supposed to be a mass production car that everyone can afford. It’s like an Electric Porch/ Luxury Audi Ev. Some other company’s focus on cheaper cars that the cheaps of the world can all afford.

a super-expensive EV sedan looks like a great way to bankrupt your company in 2024. As a Tesla model Y owner, I guarantee you no one will cross shop between the Y and this car. It’s just too expensive for negligible advantages

Just because you broke ? Tesla model y is a rip off. Most people that buy a Tesla loses because it loses value. Also the basic interior is a big different. Polestar will win over a Tesla. Polestar don’t want to be compared to Tesla. They want to be compared by the good cars. Not Tesla. Tesla is a shell and a screen with lot of super chargers. I got a Tesla y for 2 years now and it’s a good one but just a basic car with a screen and speed. I have test drivin the polestars and been lookin at this car and it is amazing. Such a different on the interior and the feeling inside of the car. Polestar isn’t like Tesla and want to mass production and do millions of cars every year. Polestar is for the best. The ones who can afford it. Tesla is a mass production company that put down the price of there cars all the time to fuck there customers about there value of there cars for the future.

You made a perfect point, no one will cross shop between this and model Y bc those buyers are not the same that could afford a Polestar 4. The reason to buy a polestar will most likely be a very conscious one regarding sustainable luxury combined with a unique design and amazing performance. And not as cramped as the polestar 2. I do appreciate the model Y for what it is, great luggage space too, and efficient. But it is no way a luxury car. That's what this car will be amongst other things :)

It’s already on sale in China, and parts of Europe. The P4 won’t arrive in the US until late 2024.

Polestar will be around for ever. They partners with Volvo and will keep goin for ever. I work at Volvo in Sweden and we have polestar workers here also and we work together every day.

No they haven’t. They still own 18% of polestar. They dumped around 60% shares to their own share holders for free. Just to separate the company’s. Everyone buys Volvo shares to get access to polestar shares. But now they won’t do that anymore now they will buy polestar shares. Volvo have already had there word on the situation and polestar also. They want to separate the company’s more so people don’t take them together anymore but off course Volvo and polestar work together forever and do every design and work on the cars together in Sweden then the production is in china for polestar because that’s where they start seeking them first then move to Europe and USA.

Sometimes, a car manufacturer is so popular they could have the worst proposition and journalists or commentators would love it and I feel this is happening with Polestar! Of course there’s plenty of room in the back considering its length! The interior is as boring as the sofa department of an IKEA store and no window at the back, that should be a deal breaker! Finally the price! So I don’t get it, I am not one bit impressed by the car! Sorry 😢
