It started amicably but then different views raised its head ! They don’t agree how to deal!

The Tories were absolutely wrong for reducing police numbers. I’m glad the Tory woman at least admitted that crime was going down when coalition came into power after all the efforts of the Labour government.

Police investigating a non crime hate incident is like a traffic warden investigating how clean your car is

Strange to think that bullying includes both physical and verbal, yet it’s disputed within hate crime. It doesn’t have to be physical for it to be hugely impactful on the victim.

Why though! Parents used to teach their children respect for others! Where are they!! I wouldn’t have dared disrespect society!

“We’re making a mockery out of REAL hate crime…” says folks who also make excuses when there are real hate crimes.

theres no such thing as a hate crime. theres crimes.

Course it’s frightening but you can’t give into a bully! It doesn’t work nor does appeasement!!

No one should be charged, arrested etc. for expressing their thoughts. Instead, any such statements should be documented for the possible victims sake in case it leads to an actual crime; this documentation could serve as a backup for the victim. We can find a balance between fostering free speech and protecting individuals from hate crimes.

Surely there’s enough laws already in place to cover all of this, these respect orders are pointless I honestly don’t see how they will change anything

Did they invite rioting across England ? Did mobs of Woke attack the police or Greggs or a library or try to burn people in a hotel?

The thing is the police officers have no choice BUT to record what is potentially a crime. It is then up to the fiscal to decide whether to proceed with the charge. If the police fail to record what has happened then they face accusations they are not doing their job. How do they win?

Never put yourself forward for jury service.
@Rookiescot2 күн бұрын
@@philipjohnkaye8890 Why? The fiscal has to provide enough evidence to prove a crime has been committed not just recorded.
