Henning May has the finest deep powerful voice I've heard in over 25 yrs. You should check out some of their originals in English: LEAVIN, SOMEDAY SOMEWHERE, WAITING, DON'T SAY A WORD, YOUR DOOR(DRUMMER IS PLAYING A KAHONE & THEIR GUEST IS PLAYING A STEEL DRUM &THE GUITARIST AND HENNING'S VOCALS) JAMES(ST JAMES INFIRMARY) OTHER COVERS IN ENGLISH ARE: COME TOGETHER, NEIL YOUNG'S THE NEEDLE AND THE DAMAGE DONE, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE'S CRY ME A RIVER, I CANT GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD with a band called PARCELS, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN'S I'M ON FIRE, AMY WINEHOUSE'S VALERIE (DUET WITH NATALIE FINDLEY) all of these are great. Hi, great reaction. Just discovered you and love your song catalogue. From AnnenMayKantereit you might like "Lass es kreisen" (live version) and the Proberaum Sessions and "Barfuß am Klavier" with Henning alone on the street with a piano. Also worth checking is Hennings coop with Juju, a female german rapper, with "Vermissen", very chilled. Henning just gives all he does a glimpse of gold, and the band is wonderful.

I first saw Suzanne at Passim's in Harvard Square, in the mid-80s. Allen Ginsburg was there around the same time. He and I had a chat. Wish I had talked to Suzanne but was too smitten and shy. "Queen and Soldier" got me there. Popular on local quality radio.

@@michelemichele3375 I did, only because my date, a lovely Jewish lady from Virginia knew him, and she invited me to the event, although I would have gone anyway. I wish I could have a do-over, as I was not in my best form. One reason I never drink now. Great think about a place like Cambridge is that every passes through there eventually. The cup runneth over. Should make for interesting stories some day. Of the beat poets, I also hung out with Amiri Baraka at Harvard and Ferlinghetti, who gave a private reading in a Charlotte home.

Although it is important to only ever listen to the Osmond Brothers, sometimes it is okay to venture out into the sinful world of extra-Osmondiality, and listen to other attempts. Be that as it may, a habit from youth has been that of seeking out acoustic space to explore with voice, whistle, or instrument. Many an acoustic space I have tested with a whistling of Hackett's solo in "Firth of Fifth". I have always known it was meant to kept alive. Grain silos have great acoustics. And the acoustics from this video were beyond the beyond. Paul Horn would be proud. He played his flute in the Taj Mahal and the Great Pyramid, and recorded it. You probably already know it well. Thanks for this treasure. I will listen to their other music. Y'all should explore your town with instruments and recorder. Make for a good show I bet.
