Police Box model in Blender

Here's something different but it sure does look familiar. This model is based from the police on display at Avoncroft Museum. Like most police boxes of this type, it was made mostly of concrete featuring a single wooden that opened outwards.

Very cool looking. I like the old police box’s and I think it would be cool if the BBC actually used this version of the tardis prop

It would be the first TARDIS exterior in the TV show to have a door that opens outwards. Well, the TARDIS doors have opened outwards before but usually when the TARDIS lands on her back. It would be interesting to see an exterior that is more accurate to the real life police boxes. Though the past exteriors are great with the Brachacki TARDIS, the first TARDIS exterior, getting the closest to the real deal. The prop used for the Peter Cushing movies got even closer but wasn't exactly accurate. I do wonder what is in store when/if they change the exterior again.

Thank you. This police box is mostly made of concrete with a wooden door. It's shiny because the police box that is model is base from had a new coat of paint which was more glossier compared to past paint jobs. That and the light source in the animation is quite bright.

I would like you to, use your imagination, and make a unique tardis, that could be a concept for the 14th doctor.

I have made a custom exterior before and it is featured in my earlier TARDIS animations. It was rough attempt at mixing the real life police boxes with the ones used for the show. As for one for the 14th Doctor, I have no ideas or at least not yet. I do look forward to future TARDIS designs for both the inside and outside.

@@Qw3rtScapes I see. Well I'm not the best with interiors. I have attempted them in the past but I usually end up making them so big and complicated, they end up in a mess. Though I may attempt a custom one in Blender one day.
