He is very smart and is so correct about how the system wants to control the masses with fear. Rent is high that creates fear living from pay check to pay check only one step away from being homeless. We live on a planet with so much land but it’s all controlled and by the wealthy and they don’t care about those who fall through the cracks that they created.

I understand the response. The call was a guy wearing a bullet-proof vest act strange at a Whole Foods store. The fear and response by the police was a possible active shooter. In Buffalo,NY, a man shot a bunch of people in a grocery store. After the shooting, people said they saw the man dressed in tactical gear acting strange. If someone in Buffalo called the police maybe the murder of 10 people could have been prevented.

Whoever called cops on this guy is obviously not a local or frequent wholefoods shopper. I see this guy almost daily both inside and outside the store and he never causes any trouble.I often see the woman mentioned who seems like a caretaker sitting and having lunch with him.He is always polite to me and never violent or aggressive. I'm a 60 year resident of Venice and know who the bad actors are and he is not one of them.

I heard someone say: "15 cops to arrest one man?"...but there were probably closer to 20 cops AND a firetruck. How many service vehicles? Cops just wandering around in circles. I know this guy he camps outside Clutch for past 2-3 years, is at Whole Foods daily, what did he do? He occasionally has fits of what might be rage yelling very aggressively (only ever seen him doing this when he is alone in his tent which is unnerving to say the least, but I have never witnissed that at Wholefoods) he lives very much solitary, but I have also talked to him and he has been kind. That many cops is absolutey ridiculous!! He might have some issues and hope he reads this and chooses to get some help, because he needs it he has spent years alone and that is no way to live. He is not invisible and people do see him. Cops doing their jobs but they should know these people by foot patrol and again, absolute zero reason for that many officers to be together unless there is an active situation ESPECAILLY when you cannot even get 911 on the line. Total insanity

Homeless being marginalised again. We often hear they drug addicts, they refuse help. NOT all are addicts. Many are weary of accepting help because of fear...heres an example 15 police for one man. He probably put that harmless vest on because its probably one of the few belongings he owns. Yet heavy drug dealing and serious crimes are happening all over LA ....yet the police home in on this man. Way too people many struggle with mental issues. Life on the street is hard. The anguish, loss of hope and constant struggle to survive and eat is enough to break anyone. Those that do have addictions dont easily accept help which we may see as easy but because they struggle mentally often shun help. Bless the care workers and those who do help. A little kindness goes a long way
