My little one has watched this video about a million times and is OBSESSED with all of your “bad guy butt kickers” (that comes from a 6 year old). Thank you for your service and please keep doing what you do! Our youth and our communities need more officers like you!

How many sword wielding people are running around your city? Lol, that expiration date sneaks up on ya, I’ve been at my command for two years and they just got us all new vests. The one I had been issued when I first got here had already expired by two years.
@OfficerNaeNae5 жыл бұрын
Nikki Thompson we haven’t had any sword wielding, but we have had knife wielding. The city just west of me had an officer-involved shooting 3-4 years ago with a sword-wielding suspect. Unfortunately the suspect was killed in the incident, but fortunately no one else was injured (and the two officers went home safe).

Wow, you must have read my mind! Even before I asked you about the vest on your FB feed, I wondered about what you carried on your duty belt. It seemed kind of light compared to some cops I’ve seen. Do you carry a night stick? Those retractable ones are pretty cool.
@OfficerNaeNae5 жыл бұрын
I used to carry an ASP (the retractable/collapsible baton), but I never used it for the first few years. The only time I deployed it was if I had an aggressive dog (simply expanding the baton would scare most dogs away). Now I just keep it in my car just in case

Also include the rifle if you have to use even extra weight. I want to be soldier and cop at same time and military gear is like extra 60-80 lbs, and than the extra pounds with police gear, won’t be good for my back since my back is already messed up. But I’ll be worth it

Could you make a video about what all of the 10 codes mean like 10 4 and 10 8 and 10 80 and have us listen to you police radio and explain to us what the codes mean and what it means when a police officer says that he needs the case number and what a warefare check is etc.??????? I listen to my police scanner + app on my iphone and sometimes I wonder what that chat means.

What type/brand tourniquet?
@OfficerNaeNae5 жыл бұрын
I use a Combat Application Tourniquet (or C.A.T) tourniquet by North American Rescue. I really like this tourniquet because you can apply and operate it completely one-handed. I hope I’m never in a situation where I can’t use both my hands, but if I am, I’ll be able to operate this one and save my life. Also, I like how it’s one handed operation so I can keep my gun in one hand while applying the tourniquet with the other

@@OfficerNaeNae thank you for the information. I've tried various ones but am changing the personal carry one I have, as opposed to our standard issued equipment. Stay safe, brother. Love your channel. You should go Patreon or utube sponsors. I've been telling friends about you. You should do some joint posts with donut operator or Mike the cop!
@OfficerNaeNae5 жыл бұрын
I would LOVE to do joint videos, but I’m just an average guy with a small following. I don’t think I even show up on their radar. It’s hard to be noticed when you haven’t even reached 1000 subs (the amount of subs you have to have to monetize a channel). Also, I’ve never really looked into Patreon. TBH, I don’t even know much about it. Thank you for spreading the word and helping support my channel! You’re quickly becoming a top fan in my book 😊

Why is there school cops in America ?
@OfficerNaeNae5 жыл бұрын
Good question! We put police officers in schools (usually high school or secondary schools) to 1.) help deter any crime against the students and 2.) deal with any problems that occur during the school day. Having an armed police officer at the schools helps deter people who may attempt to harm our students from coming in and doing anything. The school administration also has their school police officers deal with any criminal offenses (assault, drug use, theft, etc..) that occur on school property. Great question. Thanks for asking!
