I believe if your a criminal you should face the consequences for your actions but in this situation I have to look at what's morally right. This inmate was handcuffed in the back seat of a cop car so my first question is where in a cops training either in the classroom or out in the field does it allow for a cop to physically strike someone who's already cuffed and stuffed in the back seat of a cop car, yes his legs were free but were not a threat in this case, the inmate was KO'd before officer #2 opened the door and one might think that two officers should have been able to handle this guy without going Mike Tyson on him being he's already handcuffed. In my opinion Jason was spot on regarding the 2nd officer not saying or stopping officer #1's actions, it would have been the right thing to do, it's kind of like but different scenario like being on a live fire range in the military or even on a public range, everyone is a safety officer, if you see an unsafe act it is definitely on you to speak up or do something so that action is stopped. I totally respect good officers who actually defend that oath they swore to but the bad ones have become an increasing problem or maybe it's the same but due to cell phone camera's the corruption is being exposed unlike the old days. The hiring of unqualified and poorly vetted candidates/DEI hires due to low staffing is unacceptable, this starts with bad leadership on behalf of the top brass at some of these police depts which could cause a trickle affect down the ranks which makes for bad cops making the citizens lose trust in them and when the trust is lost it's hard to get it back!! If one cop won't stop another cops bad actions, you are protecting what you should be arresting.

What’s the point of the arm chair quarterback videos if you have no real experience in the scenario? I understand you were a seal so quarterback them or your opinions on situations really have no validity. Yes the cop shouldn’t have struck that prisoner that way…but if you aren’t anti cop your videos show otherwise. I mean, he did beat a restrained inmate, so how is the title misleading? I worked as a C.O. and as a court house security officer for years and never had to beat on a restrained inmate, not once. That cop is a time bomb waiting to happen. Holding those that uphold our law according isn't "anti cop." This happened in Jonesboro AR. And this guy has other problems Chief Elliott said on Tuesday that he had suspended Harris in 2022 for using excessive force. Harris is a defendant in an ongoing lawsuit filed in June over a man who died in the Craighead County Jail this year. The 2nd officer needs to be fired and charged as an accessory, the “good cops” know who these guys like Harris are, they work with them every day and see what goes on and chose to remain quiet.

those two police are from different departments, so they drove in different vehicles. the first uniform looks to be city police and the second one on passenger side looks to be sheriff department uniform.

I just want to add that ROEs in war are far different than on our own soil. Torture for Intel is far different situation than preventing someone in your police cruiser from killing themselves. 2nd degree assault was not necessary to achieve that goal.

And, it has no benefit to anyone who watches it. You keep calling this "Custody" an "Inmate". Week one of any academy would educate you on the difference. To be clear, I retired as a Sergeant and dealt with use of force and the approval of the use of force. If ANY new recruit followed your advice, they would go to jail, then prision and they would be sued into oblivion. I don't want ONE person going into the LE profession talking about "Softening" them up! I 100% can see why this seems like a neat or fun idea for your channel, but PLEASE let this be the last one you put out. I'll leave you with this. If someone had a "Navy Seal" style channel, but they had never been a Navy Seal, or even served in the Armed Forces, what would you think? Honestly, what would you think? They may say, I was a police officer for five years, and watched every video put out by the "Frogman Tactical" channel on KZbin, and I watched EVERY movie EVER produced about the U.S. Navy Seals. Because of all of this they proclaim they are qualified to speak on the Navy seals and their tactics. There's a Zero Chance ANY Navy Seal would validate that. This is a tremendously complex Career and it should NOT be presented by you as if you have some relevant perspective because you were part of the Seal Teams. While the officer may have gone too far in his attempt to restrict the inmates stupidity, the inmate bears some responsibility in this. Thousands of others in custody arrive at jail intake or prison intake unharmed, because they don't act like fools while in custody. Two wrongs don't make a right, but it tales one wrong to allow the second.

Less than 1% of Police contacts with citizens end up as arrests. Far less than that end up as use of force. Yet we never focus on the other 100,000 police contacts where people are helped, saved, uplifted, extended kindness, or protected. The only focus is on the one contact that is bad and form our opinions based on that. How about for every video we analyze bad conduct we do a video analyzing the exceptional work police do? But that wouldn’t get the views would it?
