They currently use 2 types of uniforms, the new blue ones and the current green ones in their urban version (patches in gold thread, boot inside the pants) and rural (black thread, boot over the pants, Vietnam style)

As bad as some neighbourhoods in cities in the UK are, Im glad that we dont have to deal with the same level of crime, poverty and gun violence in places like Bogota, Cali or Medellin in Colombia. They deal with levels of gun violence that the UK has never thankfully had and I hope we never do. Medellin in the 1990s was a war zone, and parts of it still are although I believe that Cali is the most violent city in Colombia theese days.

Although you can tell Guy had fun throughout his journey around Colombia, his thirst for adrenaline and danger is very misleading. On one hand he is zooming on aspects that he finds fascinating like drugs. Sadly drugs process, drug chases and drug land is the main focus of this program. This is hardly a balanced picture of what the country is now a days. On the other his approach to the culture is general and vage, although I'm sure for many is entertaining. Shallow, misleading and incomplete.

Bogotá and that neighborhood is not even close the most dangerous place or city in Colombia, the only thing you have to use is Google, mate.
