@Gecko.... Жыл бұрын
@@jakesoros2376 I think it's more that police tactics have changed to focus on protecting the public first and foremost. They are also held to more accountability now for their actions. I'd much rather criminals escape than have the public injured or killed because of something the police did. The police usually catch up with the criminals at a later date or they may even have their heli up to track them. As for moped gangs they are very hard to combat. They pop up out of nowhere and are gone before the police have time to respond. Though I have seen videos where the police ram them off their mopeds if they do respond in time.

Yes but they were also very heavy handed on some of the lesser stuff. I remember a few times it came on the news some kid got a hammering for pinching some worthless stuff or other things that were of no real consequence. Thats why we have what we have today. It was great when they could tackle crime but because of the few who abused the power it was mostly stripped and now they have to follow so many daft rules they can't really do their job properly. I'm not saying they should let the crims go but there does have to be balance and a crim plus a dozen cop cars flying through a small village over a few tv's just isn't worth it. A couple of these chases are good examples. Massive danger to the public and when they crash at best its a massive cost - far more than they took - while all the time risking lives. Now its gone too far the other way and all the crim has to do is pass a car a bit close to get away free.

Looks like a typical T bone accident with a motorbike but that is just my best guess? I don't know the full details so cannot comment on it further, as to whos fault it was? The car should not have pulled out in front of the bike but if the bike was speeding it is not all the car drivers fault. I been driving and riding for over 35 years including trucks, buses, coaches, taxis. I am now of the opinion it is not the ultimate or sole priority who was right or wrong or who was at fault. The main thing for me is to avoid collisions and getting injured or injuring anyone else. Also I know it is not easy for young drivers what with insurance costs and all the other red tape they are faced with after they pass their driving test. I just got one of my large bikes insured and if it gets any cheaper it will cost me more to fill up the fuel tank than get insurance :0) I earned that luxury over many decades. I hope you can too?

@@Keepingitrespectfulmostly. nice like bikes my self I've got a cub 50 on its way to me this weekend to restore also own 2 Volvo's a 740 and 940 ones an f reg other h which ever is the h and f I forget as they both look the same to me not much difference I am soon to sell the 740 tho as it's left hand drive and I don't use it to much any more I do get some funny looks driving something like those as I've only just turned 25 but now I take my driving much more seriously I went in an advanced driving course as well as after passing my test doing more lessons I know I didn't have to but it was really worth it it made me a better driver and more aware of these idiot boy racers you get about these days I live in a city so it's full of them I haven't had an accident sence and I hope I don't I lost a close family friend to a bike accident and unfortunately it happened down near where he lived and what got to me the most is that his 2 kids and wife walked past him well he layed on the floor we assume he eas already dead at this time if I could go back I'd verbally rip him apart as he was usually a sensible rider but this time crashed out at nearly 100 mph in a 30 when I se these boy parked up at the Mc Donald's or friends who race about thinking they look pimp I show them how it destroyed my friends family and with his wife's permission show them pics of the crash seen and what he looked like when on the floor most of the time it's enough to put the fear of God into them and make them learn to be more sensible and think before they do such things

The second video wasn't a cctv camera location ,,,it was a camera on tripod spooking the drivers and causing the pile up

And after all these years people still drive like this, you would think videos like this would decrease the amount of accidents we have.

They used that for the Police Camera Action titles

There's also "[sharp intake of breath]! Gosh, heh! That was close weren't it?" that was used AT LEAST three times. One of them in Police Stop! 2 when a Red Rover 200 reverses up a slip road then pulls onto the roundabout, nearly hitting a passing car. A classic clip.

@@letsdiscussitoversometea8479 And 'certainly not driving like that, we've got that on tape'. In some of the later episodes where they show clips from Denmark you hear in virtually all the clips something like 'salam, figa green toward eastern stee stope' 😂

@@mattwebb6056 good ear! Don't think I listened _quite_ that closely myself, but I know of course Police, Camera, Action! was a very guilty culprit of doing this. The same possibly with these American late night Channel 5 programmes that used to be on Sunday night ("I'm Sheriff John Burnell") - that one. The same sound effects got used over and over again.

😆 I wish it was real. "Thankfully, the driver of the car they hit, only suffered minor women's whiplash!"
