"I'm not here for a discussion, just do your job." Love it, really well said. It's interesting how they want to get into a conversation with you, by asking a loaded question. You stopped them dead by responding with "just do your job." I think they realized right there and then, that you were not going to be the compliant, obedient "good" citizen. I enjoyed the way you handled these police and will subscribe. "Beans on Toast," is also a great name.

The reason that they engage in all this largely irrelevant blather and moronic repetition, if given the chance, is that they are simply hoping that by making you talk you will say something they can pretend is a self-contradiction, since this is something they can then use to pretend that further questioning or other action is justified. The more you talk, the more chance you give them.

The big problem, in USA and even more in UK, is that the police have the power to incriminate and arrest and officially open a investigation . In italy and other country in continental Western Europe, the police is totally dependent and at the orders of magistrate. The prosecutor is the same order of judges, in totally a magistrate, totally spared and independent from government and ministers. The police is dependent from government only in public security activity. But in judiciary activity and investigation pass to depend to magistrates. Only the magistrate can open and direct the investigation. Only the magistrate can incriminate and arrest a suspect. Police can arrest in exceptionaly cases only if directly present in the act of a committed or attempted non-culpable crime for which the law establishes the penalty of life imprisonment or imprisonment of no less than five years at least and a maximum of twenty years Only for strictly necessary time to present the person to magistrate and in any case no more of 24 hours. Never can arrest if is not present in the act. Fot any suspect or crimes with penalty less than 3 years in the minimum and less than 5 years in the maximum, the arrest of the police is totally forbidden. The constitution say in art n.13 Personal freedom is inviolable. No form of detention, inspection or personal search is permitted, nor any other restriction of personal freedom, except by reasoned act of the judicial authority and only in the cases and methods provided for by law. its means that In italy, the incrimination, investigation and detention and any restriction of freedom is totally in the hands of the magistrates and never of the government and executive power apparatus.

Not a difficult concept. People that go "My name is on your system" are idiots. Literally. For instance, plausible example here: My mate goes on holiday.... let's say for 2 weeks. Whilst he is away, I break into his house, and steal his £70,000 car, and take it for a joyride. He's on holiday and has no idea it's been stolen. I'm driving around in it like a burk, and get pulled over as such, when they ask for my name, instead of actually giving them my name, which would then immediately arouse suspicion since my name wouldn't match the registered keeper's name, I say to them "It's on your system". Normally they will ask to see some ID, I say i haven't got any on me, although I have, but I refuse to give it to them and continually say I haven't got any ID on me, at this point they have no powers to search me, so won't find the ID with my actual name on it. They process "me" to court (of course it's not me, it's my mate, since the car is registered in his name and i've pinched it) because I managed to persuade them, that although I have no ID on me, the car is mine. I'm then allowed to carry on my way, after being processed and reported for court summons. I continue to drive around in his stolen car, and board a cross channel ferry to the Netherlands, where I sell it on to a dodgy garage for say 10/20k. He returns home from holiday, to find his car missing, he then gets a letter through in the post informing him that he's due to appear at court for the offence of careless/dangerous driving. Despite having been abroad for the last two weeks, he's utterly clueless until he realises that whoever stole his car must have then been stopped and given his details. Police had the opportunity to recover a car that WAS stolen (albeit it hadn't been reported stolen as yet). Now let's start that scenario again.... I get stopped, I give my ACTUAL name. They compare this to the registered keeper on the system, and of course, it's different. They tell me this, and I then inform them that I borrowed it off my mate, trying to worm my way out of getting nicked of course. Any decent copper won't take my word for it, and will want to speak to my mate to confirm this is true. When I then refuse to call him, or the call connects to him, and the officer speak to him, and confirm that he has given no one any permission to drive his car, I get nicked for Theft of motor vehicle, rightly so. See the difference? Just because the police can run a registration through, and it will give them the name of the owner, it doesn't always mean that's the person riding it, does it? You know it is - because it's YOUR bike. But they don't know that, and that's why they ask you, to confirm it. The more you make it awkward by then turning around any saying "It's on your system" or "I don't have to tell you" the more they suspect you've nicked it, and it's not been reported stolen yet. Pretty simple really...

Whenever the topic of bad policing comes up, people usually say 'its just a case of a few bad apples' but the expression is not:- 'A few bad apples are really annoying' or 'One bad apple makes the others look bad' the saying goes:- "One bad apple SPOILS the bunch" Thats why farmers get rid of bad apples, they dont defend bad apples, they dont give bad apples promotions, they dont let bad apples take early retirement with full pensions. They throw them out to protect the good ones. If police departments want the respect of the public, they have to earn it by showing us they actually care about their product. until then, its perfectly reasonable to assume the whole barrel is spoiled and the farmer doesnt care!

That is fine but don't push your luck or they will look for any excuse to hold you back longer or even arrest you. I got pulled many years ago with two friends in my car, I just gave them what they asked and they done their checks. They then turned their attention to the one friend giving them lip, he ended up being searched having property taken from him (a pocket knife and other small items), he was close to getting pinched because he 'couldn't' keep it shut. Another mate more recently had the shit kicked out of him with batons, breaking his hand in the process, he was offering out about four officers but not going for them, but they went way to far to arrest him, for nothing probably. But when he was beaten by lads with a hammer, they did not even look for them even though it happened not far from the city station that he went straight to with a bloodied head. TBF he does have a lot of bad luck with people and the Police, has done his whole life, so of course his attitude is not great when Police are about.

I've made it to 2:44 first thing I'd suggest is that asking your name while just stopped at a red light doesn't seem like the best idea, secondly the place they did stop looks like a bad choice, a short stretch between two junctions. Thirdly they stopped you in a bike lane with a solid white line which means vehicles 'must not' enter, I imagine the police making a traffic stop are exempt from this but in that case he should have put his lights on to indicate to others that they are stopped.

COMMON LAW (Law of the land) - upheld by a police constable. No one is above common law, and those in breach of common law will be tried in a common law court before a jury of their peers. There must be a victim in common law and they do not need your name, as the victim and/or witnesses will point you out as being the perpetrator. Common law - 1 - You cannot hurt anyone 2 - You cannot steal anyone's property 3 - You cannot damage anyone's property 4 - You cannot defraud anyone 5 - You cannot commit breach of the peace towards anyone 6 - You cannot commit treason (or sedition), towards the crown. And that's common law ☝️, that's it and NOTHING ELSE. ACTS AND STATUTES OF PARLIAMENT (Commercial law, contract law, law of the sea, admiralty law) - upheld by a police officer. Only applies to certain groups (Road Traffic Act applies to drivers of vehicles etc) and needs your consent to enforce it, of which they will try to get using legalease ("Do you understand" - meaning do you 'under stand' ((stand under)) my authority). They need your name to issue fines and court dates, (as "Mr Hate crime" can't point you out in court - and no court usher ever shouts out "Occupier to court one"), You are the only one who can give or confirm your name, so NEVER give it. Your answer to every question should be - "I retain my common law right to remain silent" Your answer to every request should be - "I don't want to do anything you tell me to do, but I will do because I feel threatened by you" (They always "ask you" to do something rather than 'tell you' because then you've accepting their authority), and it's VERY important that people don't fall for the "Do you want to" etc etc, because this is where they will trap you. Q - "What's your name?" A - "I retain my common law right to remain silent" Q - "What's your address?" A - "I retain my common law right to remain silent" Q - "If you don't tell me you'll be arrested" A - "I retain my common law right to remain silent" Q - "Well I'm arresting you blah blah blah, 'do you understand'?" A - "No I do not stand under your authority" Q - "Ok well do you want to come this way" A - "I don't want to do anything you tell me to do, but I will do because I feel threatened by you" And before anyone points out that they can get your name from a driving license or passport etc, those are fraudulent documents created from a birth certificate that clearly states across the bottom - "A certificate is not evidence of identity". Let's not forget that the first thing a police constable says to you when he/she arrests you is - "You do not have to say anything", Because, believe it or not - YOU DON'T. You do NOT have to speak to a police constable. You do NOT have to speak to the desk sergeant at the police station. You do NOT have to have a police interview. You do NOT have to attend court. Exercise your God given inalienable common law rights, they're yours and cannot be taken away by anyone, especially by some police officer using his/her uniform to commit treason and fraud by acting as a government bailiff. Police constables swear an oath before God to serve the Monach and protect people and property. They DO NOT swear an oath to protect the government. They swear their oath raising their right hand, and if they went against their oath in a court, they would receive two years for perjury.

Beans On Toast ..... With you completely on EVERYTHING you said in the video, as a fellow motorcyclist since 1966 ... still riding! These coppers were dim. Firstly, the copper asked you to "raise your visor" after looking at the picture on your driving licence. Soon afterwards, he asks you to remove your helmet and when asked to confirm that this is what he wants, he acts as if he'd already asked you to do that. He hadn't. His attitude stinks ... clearly not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Then, he quotes section 163 of the RTA when asking you to produce your documents. Wrong again ... Section 163 does not require you to produce your documents. Here is Section 163 of the RTA. Nowhere does it say that this section requires you to produce your documents. He should be quoting the correct section ... too dim to know that it seems. I think that's very impressive that you have such a long history of riding and thanks for the detailed comment. I guess you saw what I was doing with the police by being very clear with them in getting them to state what they wanted in case I decided later to escalate the matter. The overall intelligence of police recruits continues to drop year on year so any interaction with them should be recorded for protection and they have very vague memories of events.

@@BeansOnToast_YT There was a situation back in the 90's when I was on my way home from work in Camden Town, on my BMW R100. There were two lanes, both full of very long lines of stationary traffic. I passed the queuing traffic in the offside of the two lanes and then came to a stop behind a line of motorcycles doing the same but they weren't moving. There was a motorcycle cop holding them up ahead, and for no reason. I waited for the traffic to start moving during one of the changes of the traffic lights, which were some way ahead and managed to get my pretty large bike in between the traffic in the nearside lane and the kerb ... I slowly got past the copper and then managed to resume my position to the offside position and then ride the 100 or so yards to the head of the queue at the red traffic signal. The copper on the bike rode up and stopped alongside me in the opposite carriageway and he said, "undertaking is an endorsable offence!" I knew the lights were about to change so I asked him to pull up beyond the lights. He did ... and I then asked him to repeat what he had said. He repeated it and I then said, "No it isn't at all ... nothing at all illegal about passing traffic on the inside ... I've been doing it since the 1960's!" He tried to stand his ground and I suggested if I had broken the law, then he should give me a ticket but I added that I couldn't see what he would write on it as to what the offence was, as there was no law which stated that "undertaking" was an offence. He said, "Well .... there was nobody injured on this occasion so we'll let it go!" ...He then rode off. What a sad individual ... lying to a member of the public because I had annoyed him by not allowing him to hold me up .... and then not having the balls to admit he was wrong!

I have friends who are retired policemen, one who has sadly passed was a royal security officer, another an undercover officer who was stabbed in the back in a foreign country whilst at work, all in all they total about 8 men. 3 of whom left before retirement age because they could not accept the way the force was degenerating, and were genuinely concerned at the quality of leadership and quality of recruits, others amongst the group often make comments of how the police force has slipped from being respected to being hated by the general public, something they are very critical of remarking how things were so different when they were serving, there is only one left actually in the job and he can’t wait until he is eligible for his pension so he can retire. Those two arrogant thugs that stopped you would appear to support the remarks made by my friends. They actually looked disappointed when they realised there was nothing they could do to you. Illegal stop, if they had checked their record and found an issue, then pulling him over would be lawfull, but they hadn't as we can see that they checked after the stop. You're marked on the on the sytem to be pulled over (intimidation) because they couldn't nick you for the theft of the wallet. Little unknow fact is that, if you report an office to the local magistrates, then the magistrate must summons and question the officer in regaurds to the complaint. This also goes on the officers record. They couldn't even get the correct section of the road trafic act. 163 is stop only, and 164 is for driving licence and 165 are for details (but not date of birth) during a stop

You may, or may not know, that those who apply to become police officers, today, are as thick as a piece of three by two, and what is more some are mentally unstable, the latter I find unbelievable, but true as I know of a police officer who has sever brain injury, is not exactly on the planet. I was once speaking to an ex senior Home Office official and he remarked that they had to reduce the entrance test, make it easier, and even then most persons failed, only to resit, fail, resit, fail, and eventually pass, and this is before having to learn the law, and procedure. The candidates are generally also lazy in the physical sphere, and so many obese it is offensive to see. We have an increasing band of moronic people, in black jump suits on our streets, and increasing because government want an army of officers to contain the people, government not wanting to put the army on the streets for the pending civil war
