A highly unreasonable expectation in such a front facing job to not expect to be filmed/photographed. Bordering on ridiculous to routinely ask those who do to delete it. Its hypocritical, considering the police record you with their body cameras, police cars record you with internal and external facing cameras, they record your image on ANPR and speed cameras, the police helicopters record you, and even police drones have cameras to record you. Not only is it a mere public serving role (such as retail), he is 'community support', which other than local councillors / MPs is about as public as it gets. So much so, that you could have a public profile such as the officers detailed on the notice board. How you could expect or 'prefer' not ot be recorded in that role is unbelievable with the amount of personal cameras today. Maybe a role that is less public-facing would be more suitable for him.

What they forgot to point out was that this was evidence that was picked up after the robbery had taken place...they never saw them arrive, drill holes in walls, they foiled the alarm systems and left with the loot without any notice..it was only their age and the lack of understanding modern technology that got them AFTER the job was done...it is infact the plod that look like muppets in that case..to be fair cops had FA to go on and were just lucky...

You must remember that PCSO is not attested is not a constable and dies not hold a warrant. Basically he’s just another bloke in the street. As such he can ask what he wishes as we all can but there is no authority given to him or a warranted officer to delete footage. It’s your footage to do as you will with.

They just ignore the public and just try to fish for Information , every time. But they swear an oath to serve the public .

What a king sized PRAT. Do they give any training to these jumped up traffic wardens? Presumably not.

There is a difference between asking questions and requesting an action!

You're a fab auditor. You're absolutely right. If an officer, pcso or otherwise, asks members of the public to do something to which they are not obliged to do, is in fact a big issue. They are indirectly absuing their position by using their uniform to enforve their subjective feelings. #PINAC.

@@135Ops this isn't actually anything to do with the law per say smarty pants. This is to do with an person of authority, asking someone to do something, which to be quite Frank- has nothing to do with them. If somebody wants to record someone else in a public setting - then people need to back off and let them because it is a lawful activity. Learn some common sense you doughnut.

@@HannahMurphy141 it may be lawful to record, but it's not generally socially accepted, not comfortable for those being recorded (whatever position they may hold) and a bit strange. Especially if its by the guy making these videos, who's clearly got a few mental health issues that need addressing.
@HannahMurphy1412 жыл бұрын
@@Pommily87 bless, using the mental health card. Someone's touchy. There's nothing strange about filming in public. Chill out

@@HannahMurphy141 no, there's something strange about filming THE public though. The mental health thing appears to be very relevant here too, 'bless'. Clearly this is his outlet to control whatever he has, until he films the wrong person and gets the camera shoved down his throat 👍

I’ve seen most of the auditors ( including the one and only James Freeman) but you are on another level ! In every aspect . Keep up the good work and please come to my city - Cambridge :-)

They both lie a little and then try to justify their actions. I love it. 10 for 10 again!

They can ask, but not order. Anyone can ask anything. They can ask to see the footage, they can ask you to surrender your drone. Doesn't mean you have to listen as long as it's a consensual contact

We all know, it is not about being recorded, it is about who holds and controls the footage. He didn't ask the Sarg to not record him.

Anyone can ASK you to delete a video but, you CAN refuse, because they have only ASKED you.
