I did nighttime police pursuits during my career until I retired from police work. To the viewers who have never been in one, Trooper Byrd is steering with only his left hand throughout the pursuit, and he is using his right hand to key up his radio mic and also using his right hand to switch his siren modes, plus he is keeping up his navigation by calling out streets and speeds which means he is looking at his instruments and also the street signs. He deserves to be a legend. Everything he did was one-handed.
