You can preload sequences in song mode of your template. Having various song arrangements already loaded. Time saver. The less clicking the better

Thanks Poli I will be coming up on one year anniversary of having my X. I learned my way around it somewhat. I had to take breaks in playing with due unforeseen family and health issues. But watching this video is filling in the gaps that I would have learned this very helpful to me as all your X videos. I know your super excited with your 61 Keys but please continue to post new content for us that need your hands on X users tutorials I just can’t afford to pay for sessions at this point. Also I have to ask what happened to the live 2? I remember you posted a video that if the house is burning your grabbing the live 2 😊 praying that never happens you me or any reading it would have to be for me my MacBook Pro and X at the same time 😅. Stupid question.. but do you know, is there anyway to see how long your song is whether a song or a long sequence, in real time? Not just in bars? Like if a beat is 90 bars.. it is about right.. but who knows how long it actually is because bpm could be anything.. so how do you know how long it actually is? Besides using a timer seperatly.

It would be nice to see in song mode how long the song would be 💯 I usually do 120 bpm 64 bars gives me 2:00+ of audio but I’ll definitely bring this up 💯

Can you explain what The Explode process means? I'm a Roland guy. Just switched to Akai.

When you play a drum kit on track one you will hit a bunch of pads to trigger the samples in the kit, When you explode the kit on track one it takes each pad and makes it it’s own track. So If you start on track one and play nine pads and then hit explode you’ll end up with nine separate tracks it’s useful to be able to mute in and out different drums at specific times however you can always use pad mute. I hope this helps clear the mud 💯

Know what I been looking for that I can't find much on??? I really need a good tutorial for recording and mixing vocals on the mpc x. Possibly a good vocal chain. I have managed to record a couple songs and it sounds prettygood Just not quite up to par. I can't really come across much info to make it sound better Also I'm sure you're aware of different things I am not I am only about 6 months in on my mpc journey @Poli Popo This would be a great help

Yussir I love sound design I use the program edit after I record to dial in the sounds, works really nice with the plugins 💯
