I absolutely love your videos! I've watched this particular one about 5 times haha... Decided on getting "Metro full size vac n blo" for my detail work! You guys are impressive! -Beach

Just got one of these - it's amazing. I tried my leaf blower as well as the shop vac, and they pale in comparison. Until you feel how much air flows thru this it's easy to think those other options will work as well - but once you try it, you won't go back!

In your opinion, is it more powerfull than an air Compressor ?
@GuyWhitehill3 жыл бұрын
@@dannyjacques85 You can probably get more pressure from an air compressor but the blaster has a filter to help remove blowing sand or other debris onto your vehicle, the air from the blaster warms up and therefore dries better, and its less hassle to use than am air compressor. I have an air compressor - so I can say all that from experience.

i have that master blaster 8hp one and i cannot tell you how much better it is than the old way
@polishedbliss12 жыл бұрын
Compressors work pretty well if you can find a fitment for them which widens the flow of air a bit. Certainly a viable option if you already own a compressor.

We use our micro nozzle regularly to blow microfibre cutting discs clean, and we've never experienced any issues in doing so. Metro Vac wouldn't supply a micro nozzle if they didn't think the motor could cope with it.

The outlet hole of a shop vac works also.

The Air Force Blasters we stock come with a five year warranty; this is confirmed on the outer packaging.

Yep, we only sell the 220v version, which is meant for the UK & European market.

I know a lot of people recommend the larger 8HP Master blaster for cars, what is your opinion though as this seems perfectly fine for a small maintained car.
@polishedbliss9 жыл бұрын
+nls8520 The 8HP model is a bit like a supercar; lovely to own and hugely capable, but by no means necessary for day to day use. We've been using the 4HP model in our studio for many years now, and see no reason to upgrade - it's more than adequate for everything up to and including large 4x4s.
@daleon967 жыл бұрын
from what ive seen in the videos/demos, it doesnt look like the 8hp model blows and better than this one
@polishedbliss7 жыл бұрын
It does blow better, but as we said before, the extra performance it offers over the 4HP is not needed on most cars. However, it is nice to have if you can afford it, as it gets the job done a little bit quicker.

is there a 240volt version?!?!
@BarryBethal-yv2oz6 жыл бұрын
Richard.. where can you buy these from? How many amps does it draw?
@polishedbliss6 жыл бұрын
They are available on our website (www.polishedbliss.co.uk - just type Air Force Blaster into the search tool) and it draws 5.5 amps (1265W at 230V).

i just bought a used black baron, im told its the exact same machine as the blaster?
@polishedbliss10 жыл бұрын
Correct; the Black Baron was a rebranded Air Force Blaster, sold by Classic Motoring Accessories (aka properautocare) and their downstream resellers before they closed down.
@nissan300bhp10 жыл бұрын
Polished Bliss i was wondering why i could not find the black baron for sale new anywhere, its a great machine, im missing the 5 accessories tho, any idea where i can buy them from , ive only got the general purpose attachment? ive got a wall mount that came with it, the wheels look good tho, again is that some il have to buy from the states? thanks
@polishedbliss10 жыл бұрын
nissan300bhp We sell the four-wheel dolly and a range of other accessories (see the Metro Vac section of our store) but unfortunately not the pack of attachments that come with the machine. That said, you'll find yourself using the general purpose attachment 99% of the time anyway - it's a good all-rounder for most tasks.
@nissan300bhp10 жыл бұрын
Polished Bliss il definalty buy a dolly off you, il take a look on your website, i know what you mean about the general purpose nossle, i would like an air flair tho.

can you use this whit the tornador , or does it not have the power for that ?
@polishedbliss11 жыл бұрын
You'll have to double check, but I believe the Tornador requires a compressor? I'm pretty certain it won't work...

Do you ship to sweden? If yes, how long do you imagine it would take for the shipment? :)
@polishedbliss8 жыл бұрын
+Kasper Bruun Yes, it currently costs £11 per parcel and takes 3-5 working days. We are due fresh stock of these units in the next 7-10 days.

Do you ship to Brazil?
@polishedbliss7 жыл бұрын
I'm afraid not, only within Europe. You could try Autogeek in the USA, as I know they stock Metro Vac and I believe they ship all around the world.

Are these noisy Rich? loud enough to annoy the neighbours?
@polishedbliss10 жыл бұрын
Fairly noisy, but nothing more than a lawnmower or leaf blower produces. As long as you didn't use it first thing in the morning or late at night then I wouldn't imagine anyone would complain.

How do you feel about the micro tool kit? In scared to use it cause it strains the motor.

Miles per hour isn't exactly a flow rate, but still good video nonetheless. This looks like a good alternative to much more expensive Master Blaster.
@polishedbliss9 жыл бұрын
David F. It is; the Master Blaster is a bit like a supercar - more performance than necessary in most situations!

Air Force Blaster vs Compressor? - Serious question im not being sarcastic. cheers
@2007sox20079 жыл бұрын
I have this model plus the dolly. The hose is way too stiff and the blower unit far to light, which causes the unit to fall over when maneuvering . The dolly is attached with velcro which is unable to remain attached to the blaster as it falls over. Great blower but poorly designed.
@polishedbliss8 жыл бұрын
+Red Zed Over a long-term period of use, we've honestly never found this to be an issue, which leaves me wondering whether the floor type makes a difference? Our studio floor is covered with plastic tiles, which present a low friction surface to the dolly wheels. Maybe a higher friction surface, such as unfinished concrete, could explain your alternative experience with it?
@RevuitNet6 жыл бұрын
Polished Bliss to be fair... who has plastic tiles or a smooth floor on their driveway....
