Yep, you'll find replacement PA fitments on our website in the PA brand section. You need the Karcher K-Series option for a K3 model.

Nice video thumbs up for that ! What do you think of the P.A ls3 ? Do you think it’s equivalent to the mtm pf22 ? Thank you for your answer !

Just pulled mine apart due to the mesh getting gunged up with soap. I find that if you drop it into a small pot of boiling water on the stove, your ready to rock in a matter of minuets. I found tho, that when I'd put it back together again, the locking pin slides out a bit when I turn the barrel. Do I need to glue it? Still works like a dream, but that pin is an annoying pain in the arse.

The only thing I can't find is a suction tube with a weighted filter so that it stays in the bottom right up to the last drop regardless of the angle.

Great video!! Very helpful! Which camera did you use ?

@June K - Sorry for the tardy reply; both Viakal and HG make good ones that are available in most DIY stores.

I have a PA foam lance from a previously owned pressure washer. Can I buy an alternative fitment so that I can use it with my Karcher K3 washer?
@benrowe6819 жыл бұрын
great video ! however i do have two questions 1) what sort of cleaning agents can you use to soak the filter in. 2) all the brass connectors on mine have got like a descaled of sort of colour is there anything i can use to clean the brass parts with ? thank you
@polishedbliss9 жыл бұрын
Ben Rowe Hi Ben, (1) an acidic descaling solution will work best (available in the plumbing aisle of most DIY stores), (2) a moderate strength metal polish should do the trick, e.g. Raceglaze Alutech.

We've never tried this, but we can't see any reason why not.
@polishedbliss12 жыл бұрын
It has to be lined up correctly with the flats on the filter cover, and it also need a firm push (or a firm pull using an Allen key or screwdriver shaft - I demonstrate this method in the video, using an Allen key to firmly pull it back on).

I purchased one of these, however I don't like how the fanning blades are aligned horizontally. Is there anyway you can swap it to become vertically aligned? Cheers
@polishedbliss10 жыл бұрын
I'm afraid not; the blades on the PA model we stock are always aligned horizontally.
@JovanKorica17 жыл бұрын
Kevin Ah Seng Autobride PA lance has the exact same lance, but the blades are aligned vertically.

1 question if I use it weekly wise then after how many weeks do I have to clean it by opening it? Thanks in advance reply soon.😊😀
@polishedbliss6 жыл бұрын
It's impossible to say with a high degree of certainty, as there are too many variables in play; water hardness, type of snow foam used, care with which the unit is rinsed out after each use, etc - all influence the answer. However, as a rough guide, in hard water areas it's not unusual to have to service it every 6-12 months, whereas in soft water areas once every 12-24 months is normal.

What is the problem you don't get a lot of foam coming out of the canon and your bottle go's empty fast
@polishedbliss8 жыл бұрын
Poor foam production usually means a thorough clean is required, as per the above video. However, the bottle emptying out faster than expected doesn't really go hand in hand with this - when foam production is poor the bottle usually empties more slowly, so this is confusing. I would start by stripping the entire unit down and cleaning it thoroughly - this usually resolves most issues.

Hey, can anyone give me the name of the best descaler to use ? Can you also tell me if I should take apart the entire device and soak all the parts in a special solution?
@polishedbliss8 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the tardy reply; both Viakal and HG make good ones that are available in most DIY stores. The only part you should need to soak in the descaling solution is the stainless steel wire mesh filter, which you can locate and remove using the instructions in the video.

We're not sure which fitting the Makita will need, but if you e-mail us some images showing the shape of the connector on your lance we'll try to find out for you (see the contact us page of our website for our e-mail address).

If necessary, you could use a tiny dot of loctite or something similar to hold it in, but be extremely sparing if you do this otherwise you may not be able to get it again in future.

If only the PA fanning blades could be adjusted to spray vertical instead of horizontal.

Do not overlook this step, as the consequences do not bare thinking about..... dare I ask, what would happen?
@polishedbliss10 жыл бұрын
Well, if a high pressure connection separates/fails then part of the lance could shoot off into whatever you're pointing it at: I saw images of just such an accident on Detailing World several years back. Remember, always check your gear on a regular basis!
