In this video, I describe one way in which women bear the image of God. I also respond to Katia Adams' argument that 1 Timothy 5 teaches that women were teaching heresy in the church at Ephesus. Women Pastors // Female Pastors

Chrioni Sta Ana I’m afraid I will get fried when I say that to New Testament scholars who have studied the historicity of Jesus and reliability of the Scripture 🤓 the evidence for the historicity of Jesus who claimed to be divine is strong and undeniable. If you think I’m being biased ask the former Atheists, who are now defenders of the faith, Lee Strobel and Warner Wallace who investigated the Bible and the claims of Christianity.

Hey Alan, you are definitely one of my favorite teachers here on KZbin. I mostly agree with you regarding men and women’s roles. I would love to see a video regarding the biblical way in which a man is to treat a woman. Sadly, so many men believe that they are superior to a woman and that she is nothing more then his submissive property.....and most of these men take scriptures completely out of context. Women are to submit to their husbands BUT men are to serve their wives the way Christ served the church. Thanks for another great teaching! I always look forward to your videos. 😊

I’m a woman & I have gotten chastised so many times for sharing this same Biblical world view. I’m not a feminist & believe I am to submit to male authority. It’s disheartening, shameful, & sad that I am hated for believing & being obedient to God’s order. It’s not just faithless people who have given me a hard time for this, but those who claim to be followers of Christ who seem to take issue. When I said it was rebellious & disrespectful for a woman to be over a man, if looks could kill I’d be with the Lord! They always seem to try to bring up Deborah as if that is a way to refute me & fail to see the context behind by why God used her.

It is comforting to know their are others out there who understand, so thank you! I’ll share with you sisters in Christ what comforts me when I am chastised or confronted for this or any other thing & that is verses like James 1:2-4 2 & Matthew 5:12. We already know from the Word that they hated & persecuted Jesus & would do likewise to us, but to count it all as a joy to suffer for His namesake in any way. I try to take every opportunity of opposition & turn it into an apologetics opportunity to share the truth & explain the word in a proper exegetical context! Stay strong in your faith & Christ sweet sisters, you will be in my prayers! May God be with you, bless you & keep you! 💜

Ppl in churchianity are generally confounded on matters so it's normal for the masses to be stupid about the topic. I was a singles group co-leader three years. With a lady whom was very ,nature in the Lord overall, in Spirit too. The crowds were 90+ % women, the few men that would random appear, and they were in honesty, rather pathetic male examples in general. That In my opinion, is the same if not worse. I can see to one large reason why women step into leadership roll because the guys that should be in it DON’T show up hardly ever. Most men in the pulpits are actually very dysfunction in general. Once the Facade of the “pastor’ mask comes dow the same ole same ole male clunkiness opens up. I've been around pastoral sect in what I did, they are a joke in general . I see RIGHT thru their CRAP buddy-boy “groups” facades and manipulative pulpits industry they operate under Most in the pulpits in USA are NOT led by YHVH No flipping way are they. The Perry Stone type that copy-paste from the witchcraft tactics that the god of this world perpetrates like his joyce meyers routines of sorceries “meals that Heal” demonic gimmicks etc. Just long enough to be a “Great STORY Teller LIAR WOLF. Yet the dumb Blind Lame ignoramus Masses follow his witchcraft like they do the other stinking DOGS males like mcarthers satanic damned Manichaeism theology philosophies too. That guy is SO Laughable a Fraud con artist it’s unbelievable how many ppl protect his damned carnage witchcraft logic as “biblical”. You have NO Idea the bickering viscous infighting the wives do to each other behind closed doors, LOL, It’s a Non-STOP fight all the time for POWER POWER POWER Control & Supremacy, is so unbelievable contentious. The whole pulpit industry is a wicked thing, FULL of strifes and contentions in general. Then they put on the facades in the crowds eyes are Supermen. Ya, so in general ppl that follow these damned DOGS LIARS Frauds con artist that are a CURSE to the masses , Like Isaiah 29:10-13 said occurred before Now is AGAIN, in churchanity are confounded on the matter. Yet tell you ppl on anyones channel like this one os a 100% WASTE of my time, because you’re pigheaded STUBBORN and refuse to hear and OBEY the truths the bible says to OBEY .

Yafo, Is this is why I came out of the mega church I was part of & have gone back to a small home church like the original Christians had. Over the years it has been forgotten that we are the church, not the building. Many have also forgotten the clearly outlined requirements set forth for who should be a teacher, pastor, deacon, etc. it’s time we come out of what the world has designed & do & behave in the way God called for us to in His Word. I was a teacher at a church who also ran a school. The things I saw, the hypocrisy, greed, heartlessness, lies, hurt me & would’ve hurt my faith had I not continued to cling to God & the truth I knew to be in His word that didn’t align with them or the things they were doing. I understand where you’re coming from & I’m sorry that happened to you.

God created us and he created family so we might learn more about him. It is when each person in the family does the will of the heavenly father and sets the example of what they are as a part of the family. That allows us to understand who God is and it brings glory to the heavenly father.
@7wingsaseagles89
@7wingsaseagles89 4 жыл бұрын
@Verayou don't know how true that statement is. God makes a statement that he hates divorce because he designed the family in his image. The father and the holy Spirit are inseparable from one another just as a husband and wife should be inseparable from one to another. Today we wonder why men are so disrespectful towards women and that is because women are trying to be like men. As a result men treat them like other men in a lot of ways which gives the appearance of disrespect. Women cannot be cherished by man if they are competing to be like men.

Hello dear sister in Christ A christian who studies the whole bible should reject calvinism and TULIP. I want you to remember that God so loved the world (not „the elect“) thet He gave His only begotten Son. When you consinder calvinsim, here are a few passages to know: „The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.“ ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬ „For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.“ ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬ „For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,“ ‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬ „Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:“ ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Ask God for guidance, not man. What I have a problem with, is that the apostles looked down on women, they had a problem with the women around Jesus, the one at the well, the one at his feet, the one begging for "crumbs", these apostles even forbid children to come to Him! Jesus was always either correcting them or rebuking them. Jesus didn't say this, Paul is saying it, he clearly says HE doesn't permit it, does that mean Jesus told him that? We have no proof of that. When they count the feeding of the 5,000, and then the 4,000, they always count ONLY the men, so it was more than 5,000 & 4,000, which to me, increases the power of the miracle. Again, the ones writing the New Testament are the men, that looked down on the women, and continued to, and the apostles were not perfect, they admit that themselves. I think their view of women was not Jesus view of women. I always hear men talking about women submitting to them MORE than I hear about the scriptures telling us to submit one to another, more than I hear, husband's love their wives. If I were to sit and listen to all these videos of men talking about this subject, I can easily get the impression, they would have us put our submission to them, above our submission to God. How many christian women are making videos of how men ought to behave in church? I haven't seen one yet, and how many christian men get caught cheating? A LOT. Make a video about that.
@PoliteLeader

But if you use your standard, then aren't YOU imperfect and aren't YOU shaped by the modern feminist culture? So why should we listen to you?
@deefee8278
@deefee8278 4 жыл бұрын
@@PoliteLeader how am I using my standard? I'm not a feminist. I'm saying christian men focus too much on telling christian women to shut up, because of Paul's view of women. So when women go to our churches, they can't give our children & women Sunday school lessons or Bible studies? Because that one scripture can be and is used for this. That is pretty ridiculous, considering we are in a different culture and time period. He also said it was disgraceful for women to not cover their heads with veils, so does that mean all women here have to wear veils now and ask permission to speak? Are we living under Sharia law? And also in 1 Corinthians 11:13 he says to "judge among yourselves" because of their law & culture. I don't think it's good to have a woman over a whole church, alone, but most pastor's let their wives preach sometimes. Do a video on man's place concerning the woman. Paul stated it's because "the woman was deceived" but I find it odd, he doesn't mention the man failed to lead that woman, and ate the fruit too, and was also punished. Like I said, the apostles wrote the New Testament, with their culture, view point and LAW, it influences what they wrote. There are too many of you young men glorifying MacArthur, who isn't even teaching perfect doctrine himself. I can say that it was very "unchristian" of him to scoff and mock at Beth Moore, even though she doesn't teach correct doctrine, his attitude toward her, is very Pharisee like. Which fits with his false doctrine of calvinism, they always think they are the elite, and don't even need Christ sacrifice...now that's shameful.

I think their view of women was not Jesus view of women." I don't think you have a problem with the men of the Bible, but the Author of the Bible and the Bible itself. Until you get those things right, you will continue to be dissatisfied.

I think he was just talking parallels, not to actually imply that the "female" part of humanity came specifically from the Holy Spirit, as opposed to Christ or the Father. The Spirit is of the same divine essence that the Son and Father are, therefore all three (or simply, He, God) are/is the source of the feminine, as well as the masculine.

Spiritually speaking (gender aside), matriarchal wisdom can begin with a fundamental understanding of the cyclical nature of reality (God). Represented by the snake in many creation myths, the living cycle has a trinity of a beginning (head), a middle and end (tail). As above so below, the sexes were created in the image of God's cyclical nature where Mother is the head and opening to all beginnings and Father holds the tail to all endings (through which the sowing of seeds allow for the next great matriarchal rebirth).The joining of the two (symbolized by the Ouroborus or the marriage ring) is the sacred union needed in assuring the creation and continuation of new life cycles. To speak of the present day God as "Our Father" is simply an admission to our collective positioning within the bigger cycle. As all mothers have direct experience with the creator quality of birthing, so is the direct experience of rebirthing the divinity within (baptism) belong to that which is spiritually matriarchal. (John 3, verse 3-8). Sekhmet statues (ancient Egyptian) carry most of their weight in symbolic memory of what was a mother culture dedicated to the direct experience of baptism. As the leg shaped hairlocks extend from maternal breasts to the womb of rebirth, the lioness's head proportions are such that they highlight the bust of a second animal figure. The Lioness's ears as eyes and eyes as nose (nostrils) brings to life the figure of a reptile. 'Neath the halo headress of the solar egg, the lioness's egg fertilization process being internal (Set) and the reptile's egg fertilization process being external (Setting), such being key components to the safety of entering the trans-egoic or "born again" state. The life threatening fear associated with the predatory nature of a lion and/or crocodile encounter are reflective of the intense ego death experiences associated with the transpersonal awakening process. In spiritually matriarchal times, illumination could be seen as wearing the false beard (ancient Egyptian funerary "ego" death mask) as the high state of cyclical self knowing; high awareness of both our upper matriarchal half and our lower (later) patriarchal half (compared with a mini lower body replica, an "as above so below" tail end beard extension); in full recognition of her civilizational Underworld, her inevitable cyclical destiny. The male pharaoh wears his beard tapered in reverse, indicating a pointing upwards towards the patriarchal head, divine representative of God's tail end cycle. Mary Magdalene's anointing and wiping of Jesus's feet with her hair can then be seen as head to tail (toe) imagery as she descends her matriarchal head to his patriarchal feet, thus reenacting the high understanding of the divine cyclical process. (John 12:3) To carry the Ankh was perhaps to symbolically carry that upper and lower understanding. As the upper matriarchal womb symbolised the fertile birthing of civilization, below, the now Christian cross is carried to place emphasis on the lower (later) "End Times" Father principle of the great cycle. Lord Ganesha, the elephant headed Hindu diety, displays a cyclical head to trunk symbolism and points to the Mother head of his matriarchal elephant society. Ganesha (like the elephant) wears God's cyclical nature on his face. A whole temple was dedicated to the ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor, who is the matriarchal "Uterus" personified. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGHQYa2AiKp5gZI "See all women as mothers, serve them as your mother. When you see the entire world as the mother, the ego falls away. See everything as Mother and you will know God." - Neem Karoli Baba

Dear Alan, Thanks for this confirmation of the validity of the way church authority has been modeled for us in scripture. I am in a quandary because the pastorship in my church was switched over to a woman due to the retirement of a man. I have spoken to her privately about my trepidation regarding women in leadership over the church. She listened but hasn't stepped down; thus leading me to believe that she is not convicted by plain scriptural teaching. Since then, I have discovered that this denomination allows women in the pulpit. I am conflicted now as to what to do. I serve in various ways within this church. It's been three years since she took office. Am I being disobedient by staying? I live in a small village and there is no reasonable alternative place to worship. Could you please take the time to send me a reply, I would be very grateful.

@@PoliteLeader you know..upon what you just said that lays waste to the feminist movement. There is more power that women have in Christ. As a wife, though not able to be a mother, I am responsible for edifying my husband, the Holy Spirit edifies the church..I am responsible for validating my husband..the Holy Spirit validates the church..if I was a mother, and indeed there are many, we are the ones that bare the children..we go through 9 months of a child growing inside us, kicking us, and morning sickness, then going through the pain of bringing them into the world and alas our job is still not done, we are responsible for comforting that child and rearing that child..disciplining the child and at times mediates between them and dad.. The Holy Spirit bares us, nurtures us..deals with our kicking and screaming, and brings us through salvation and His work is still not done...He is the one who nurtures us, loves us..mediates for us to Christ..Is it any wonder why there is more power being like Christ through the workings of the Holy Spirit then by ourselves..I'll take being compared to Him any day now I can try to be more of a quite spirit to my husband and point him to where he needs to turn always and forever.

God is not male nor female. God called Himself as our Father becasuse this is the role He wanted to show us and manifest in our lives. and that is what we need as people. He also referred to Himsefl as a Mother and one of His names El_shaddai means "Many Breasted one" because it is what we need too. God is not male nor female. He has male and female characteristics and thats why He created people in His image as man and woman. Each person is different. Every person has two parents and every person is different. a woman can have more genetic material taken from her father than mother and resemble him more than her mother and so she may be more masculine in behavior and mentality. a man can be more feminine because he resembles more his mother and identifies with her more. a woman can be very feminine and not very feminine. aliek with man. People are forced into all kinds of shapes and boxes but we are created in the image of God. God is a spirit. and it is the spiritual relationship and growth that we should be after. believers are spirits too. we live in flesh but we are not our flesh, we are not our body. thats why God wants us to walk after the spirit. not flesh.

One Gospel: Gospel (GOOD ANGEL) of Reconciliation. Jesus Christ came into THEIR kingdom to reconcile fallen angels unto Himself. We are the fallen angels (ELOHIM) kept in DNA chains of darkness. If you do not confess being a fallen angel in Lucifer's kingdom, then you are an unbeliever. Unbeliever = those that claim to be made in the image of ELOHIM(gods). REPENT FALLEN ANGELS.
