Hello all:) I want to express my appreciation to you all for helping me to feel "seen." Leslie, I have had MANY incidents like the one that occured in your pottery class. I live in a blue area of a blue state (NJ) and work in a blue profession (counseling). And it's in the AIR around here. The default assumption is that you will be voting Dem. The thought doesn't even OCCUR to anyone that there is anything beyond the NYT/CNN/WaPO etc narrative. It's positively suffocating. So a big THANK YOU for helping me to feel seen and heard!

The fact that I'm naked in bed watching this video should have no bearing on the validity of my opinion. But I am and strangely it does. The morning sun is shining through the window. The sky is blue and today I'm going to be in the garden pruning and weeding. The world is going in to mass psychosis. Fear drives it. Nature keeps me sane. Beautifully put. I feel the same connection to nature. And my own sense of God (closely tied with nature). It makes me feel there is something stable that is bigger than all of us. And will see us through.

I watched two excellent Mike Benz interviews on Tucker and on Winston Marshal’s podcasts. Winston really asked great questions for people who are new to understanding what the state department actually does. Tucker’s was good in terms of censorship. I’d watch Winston’s first.

The only politicans whom have gained my interest over the last decade or so have been RFK Jr., Tulsi, and Bernie to some extent. Tulsi disappointed me quite a bit recently, though, by shilling for Trump so hardcore in vying to become his V.P. Also, I think I remember HRC trying to talk like black people when speaking to a black audience. Such transparent pandering is so cringe and likely ineffective.

I've found it a bit of a divide to bridge when I've spent a lot of time and gone deeply into a topic and the other person has some vague intimations something is wrong (or doesn't at all). Going into all the detail or giving too much info too fast can seem wingnutty sometimes.
