What kind of oddball calls Trump an ‘outsider’ and a Kennedy ‘outside the mainstream’? They are epitomes of privilege
@richardvickrey47865 ай бұрын
Alex, love you, mean it! BUT, by your logic, there's no point to run ANY of these ads. I must respectfully disagree. I live in an area of the country that stupidly leans to the Right whenever possible. I am in the "Old Fart" demographic of voters. Still, against all odds, I have been a lifelong "FDR Democrat". Point being, I feel aspirational ads such as these, have the capability of impacting impressionable future voters AND Senior Citizens who might be ready to make a meaningful change late in life. My now deceased, 93 year old Dad made such a change. He went from voting for Ronald Reagan (twice!) to being a regular viewer of msnbc who felt that Trump was a joke. Someone who could NEVER become the Republican nominee in 2016. Luckily, he passed away before having to deal with the carnage & disgrace Trump has brought to our nation. 💙

How about an older voter watching J6 footage & wondering "Why did I vote for Trump again in 2020?" And the same voter watching footage of "career GOP" Senators, etc. saying they are going to support Trump no matter what he's done. Include recent Tim Scott footage being asked by Kristin Welker if he will accept 2024 election results!! What could be more damning? 😱

I try to watch MSNBC or listen to PBS news or get into intelligent podcasts, but they’re generally a turnoff. I have a PhD, but grew up working class. PBS & MSNBC reflect my politics but are soooo elitist. Hosts cannot stop themselves from using 4 to 5 syllable words or referencing high brow literature or focusing on the 401k investor class economy - basically reflecting the reality of college educated, 401k people. No wonder why Fox attracts the working class. Get out of your elitist silos. Speak a tad more slowly. Your content is too good. Why turn off large segments of your audience? BTW- all the ads were effective.

Nice, especially when the Biden administration has refused to grant Secret Service protection 5 times, even though it’s common for candidates to have it by this stage in the election. Nicki Hayley was given secret service protection and she had less chance of winning than RFK Jr. The Dems know Biden is such a week candidate they have to try to get rid on one opponent through the courts, hoping and praying for a successful prosecution and they other they hope will meet the same fate as his father. What can’t the Dems just have a candidate the 51% of Americans support - because they have to go with the candidate their corporate donors want.

@@Marcel_Audubon I realized that I was living in an state of almost obsession with politics and I felt terrible. I started putting the tv channel on the ones that ran old black and white Westerns and I love them. Unfortunately, many of the channels do lean right. Are you sure that those familiy members don’t stand to gain financially by keeping Biden in office? 5 of his family members work for the Biden admin. It’s understandable that they want to keep their position.

Yeah, but Alex and Dan are right. Why didn't that ad attack RFK jr. hard? We still have a bit too many Democrats who are too afraid to get in the fucking mud by getting very aggressive like Tim Ryan or John Fetterman as James Carville would say.

They found 4 people. One was his nephew. This dude has 8 siblings. I'm not voting for RFK, but I think he responded to this issue really well in the past when he said something along the lines of, "Do you agree with your whole family on political issues?" I certainly don't agree with mine. It's really is just cheap ad hominem when you think of it.

Let's stop saying trump is responsible for today's Supreme Court. The Federalist Society and Leonard Leo are responsible. I mean come on. If trump selected justices, we would have Judge Judy, Judge Reinhold, and a 1969 GTO on the court.

@@chosler172 and that is the problem. And it doesn't help that the media plays along. I get the politics behind behind it. We don't want trump to win and the abortion issue is a vote driver. But even if trump loses, Leonard Leo will still be there when the next republican president comes along. The right keeps talking about the " deep state".
