I've had it with videos where people say "this is my go to meal when I dont want to cook... it only takes 30-45 minutes." Are you serious? When I dont want to cook, I take one bite from each leftover container in the fridge until I am full.

As my mom ages, I have found myself in the role of caretaker, and the person that runs her on her errands, and I've noticed that my mom has this irritating habit of IMMEDIATELY stopping upon walking into the grocery store, the Kohl's store, the Home Depot store, anywhere, to look for her list, put away her sunglasses, make sure that her wallet is in her purse, whatever, but it must happen during her dead stop stp exactly three feet inside the main entrance of the establishment despite the fact that there are a dozen other shoppers with their understandably 'Miss-Bossy-Shopping-Cart' outlook that are just behind her. I've HAD it.

Exactly, I'm a 64-year-old heterosexual male (and a nurse) who has always been the shortest guy of all my friends and family as a kid and as an adult. The tallest height I ever achieved was 5'7" at the age of 21. At my last physical I was 5'5 1/2" and my weight of 165 lbs is only 3 lbs more than when I was in college 40+ years ago. Anyway it's always been challenging to be the shortest guy around especially in a society that seems to worship large men! Fortunately I have never felt insecure or inadequate or inferior to any of the large people around me despite the way society looks at short people. I work at a large urban hospital in the US Midwest and most of my coworkers are typical fat out of shape Midwesterners (except for most of the doctors.) My wife is a small person also (under 5" tall and 100 lbs) so we are a good match and she loves me just the way I am, and that's all I need! Oh and we both drive very nice but small and efficient Honda CR-Vs, never had the desire for a convertible or sports car or to drive some giant SUV or truck like a lot of the idiots around here! It's a good feeling to be comfortable with one's own body and mind! 😊

I do hate it when actors are given credit for what the writers are producing. They're just saying the lines, folks. What they wear is curated by wardrobe. They're just wearing the clothes. How about some credit where credit is due rather than giving it to people who are just good at pretending to be someone else. That's why we're stuck with that humiliation of a man, trump.

The convertible roof is a holdover from a time when the average traveling speed was that of a trotting horse. The status associated with the convertible roof is derived from a lifestyle that predates the rise of the automobile or the middle class. By time said middle class could aspire to display such symbols of status, the automobile had changed the pace of travel, rendering the convertible roof idiotic.

It's so funny, because we live in Hawaii. And you know a tourist when you see them driving a convertible. Hawaii's weather is famous for being sunny and rainy at the same time. And we find it hilarious when we see tourists driving convertibles and having to stop to put the top on! Also, it can get windy here too and it is too funny when we see these people driving with their hair flying in the wind. You never see a local person driving a convertible. Years ago, the state (or maybe the rental car companies) removed the company decals from the bumper so that the rental car wouldn't stand out and wouldn't be targeted by thieves. Well, like I said, you know they're tourists if they're driving a convertible! Love the podcast! You guys crack me up! I especially love the ones about the Orange Loser of a Past President!

I loved my VW Rabbit convertible! I'd leave work at the end of the day, take the top down, and it was like being on vacation, instantly. I especially loved it at night, on back roads, climbing the Berkeley hills to the top and then looking straight down at the lights below. I put a clip in my hair and then just shook it out when I got to where I was going. I was young, beautiful, and my daughter and I loved my car (she was 8-10). Then the roof started to leak a bit from all that California sun (cracks), so I traded it in but got a BMW with a sunroof. I loved that car, too. In those long ago days I loved to drive, especially at night. Now I'm old, and cars are just to get from point a to b. This is sad.
