As much as I love the podcast, this timestamp helped me a ton since I have limited time to brainstorm edh stuff tonight

Just recently discovered this podcast, and it is fantastic. It took me to this episode to realize that JIMMY WONG HOSTED THIS SHOW. I watched VGHS from the beginning and love it dearly. Keep creating good content, this podcast is informative and enjoyable!

i have been playing Prossh since it released. It is my favorite commander and in my wheelhouse of colors. It has won me 3 tournaments and 2 leagues. It can be built in so many ways. 1v1 Jund control. Multiplayer hyper competitive combo win. and my favorite mid range combo backup. Will always play this deck it is never dull and always a blast even when i loose.

I have a Prossh deck of my own; when you guys mention Sadistic Hypnotist, I also think to myself "Whoa, I don't have that card."

I made a Prossh EDH deck featuring dragonstorm and it's amazing.

Another general that both creates and sacs tokens is Ghave. Both are a little nuts with Grave Pact interactions. Prossh can go infinite with so many cards, but if you don't want to go the Food Chain route, you could always just run Earthcraft. Earthcraft with Insurrection is so gross. I took out Purphuros out from my build after I won a handful of games on his back. He makes it a little too easy to win, so I swapped him with Nylea. Impact tremors may have found its way in as well...

I recommend playing for a points system. It really changes the meta and in my experience encourages more fun play. It quells the spiteful feelings and strategies and really rewards the more fun play styles

I think I can honestly say that trying to play 10-man commander game probably wasn't the best idea... As much as I love long games (because it means people are interacting with the gamestate constantly), I dont think 1 game of commander is supposed to take 5 1/2 hours...

this is my current deck for a 1v1 and loving it... #jundforlife...

This deck actually comes with an infinite damage combo. Put presence of gond onto goblin sharpshooter and have goblin bombardment out. Tap sharpshooter to make a token and sac the token to bombardment. Untap sharpshooter and repeat infinite.

What is the card at 1:03:00 ?

You guys had make a mistake for Coat of Arms, i think... The creature gets +1/+1 for each OTHER creature with the same type... So if you cast Prossh the first time, you don't get 6x 6/7 Kobolds... You get 6x 5/6 Kobolds. Or did I understand the example of the card picture wrong?

Where can I find the version of Prossh shown in the video? Is it an altered art card?
@cdphenix90077 жыл бұрын
That was from one of the all foil premium decks from a while back, specifically the black one

What version of Prossh was that shown at the start of the deck tech?
@nadie20168 жыл бұрын
my Prosh deck is a lot like the one you guys describe, I don't have access to tutors but my deck is quite redundant. I run into issues when I run out of cards. the cards on my deck that draw cards are: skullclamp fecundity smothering abomination decree of pain zendikar resurgent solemn simulacrum yamivaya elder what other cards you guys suggest?
@-KillaWatt-8 жыл бұрын
Alejandro Padilla Smith minds eye is a good one. It's colorless and can generate a lot of card draw. Its 5 cmc but worth the casting cost.
@jojodosjogos7 жыл бұрын
I'd get rid of Zendikar Resurgent and grab Skullmulcher, Disciple of Bolas, Phyrexian Arena (Or necropotence if you're playing multiplayer).

Also get a Catacomb Sifter, great source of Scry and comes with a free eldrazi token.

you guys forgot to include Prossh in all the effects ;) like mana echoes makes 37 mana because prossh hits too, and purphoros deals 14 dmg minimum
@tornadojoe875 жыл бұрын
unless prossh is countered, then you only get the kobolds because they hit when hes cast.
@tornadojoe875 жыл бұрын
unless..... you get hit by Summary Dismissal of course

I might be reading this wrong, but Goblin Sharpshooter untaps when a creature enters a graveyard from play. how does this benefit from the Kobolds, since they are all tokens? Don't they just vanish after you sac them?
@PAPP0NE9 жыл бұрын
+6ftTiny Nope tokens go to the grave and then they vanish, every "when x dies" works with tokens
