Hang on Richie. Starmer let saville off didn't he? But now he's a decent guy? I'm Confused. I tried to buy my Daily mail today, but it sold out and now I don't know what to get angry about.

Liz Truss getting the slow clap till she appeared and then refusing to give a concession speech? This was no “Portillo moment.” Michael Portillo had class.

I don't disagree with that Tory's point re. the massive increase in private debt to fuel bubbles in the economy (i.e. a housing crisis propped up by ever increasing mortgages - the endless demand side economic solutions that only help the debt owning class)

Truss is so odd man. Don't need to be competent to rise the ranks. Just need to know the right people, ay.

You missed the part when Truss said her loss was due in part to how they didn't do enough to deal with the legacy left by the last Labour government xD

Polls just before the election had Labour about 18 percentage points ahead of the Conservatives. The actual election had Labour 10 percentage points ahead. It looks as if the Conservative's voter suppression tactics did work to some extent....
