First amp modeler I’ve ever consider getting. Love the whole package. Got a similar vibe to how the Meris LVX is so deep but effortless to use.

I'd be curious to hear how you think the Fender cleans match up to the UA Dream, since you have both now. Thanks as always for the great demo!

Nice! Just got the verbs in too, excited to dive into that one.

It is just completely bonkers how much high quality gear is out in the world...mind-blowing. Do you know if you can swap NAM profiles on this? Or is it hard-coded with the 56 they chose? I know a NAM device was just released as well (and I believe you can load anything onto that one). Rock on, dude!
@AmbientEndeavors12 күн бұрын
Would be cool if there was that ability for sure. Especially if the catalog grows , maybe allowing you to use one of the categories as a “user” catalog and let you customize? There sure are endless possibilities. Thanks for watching!

I think its bonkers how much some of them cost! It should not be that hard to get a good nam modler/player for around $300 out. There has to be a guide out there to make one I need to look up! 😂
@hb848211 күн бұрын
The owner/developer for poly effects said it would not be adding more amps nor could you import new ones of your own - it is wysiwyg - curated amp collection. He referred to beebo for customizable options etc.

My question is important to me. Can I go stereo to two amps? TRS split cable?
@AmbientEndeavors3 күн бұрын
Yes you can go stereo out via a trs to dual ts split cable

there are not. just amps.

I bought the Verbs recently but had to return it. Wanted to love it but it was super buggy and the process for updates is extremely archaic. Great concepts, but the company is too small to justify a $400+ investment

Vs the ToneX which has infinite amps and you can make your own very easily. Oh and the ToneX doesnt have the worst pedal UI known to man. I mean.. its not great but far better than this atrocity
@darrenfleming622511 күн бұрын
It sound great though doesn't it.This unit appeals to me alot. Great edge of break up sounds and no funking about with a completely gormless computer UI. I only need a few really good tones, not to have to wade through an infinite parade of awful high gain fizz presets made by bedroom guitar players. I think its a winner for the right person. The ToneX is annoying. I spend more time farting around with it than playing. Might be a bit pricey though at the moment.
@enchiladajones107311 күн бұрын
No, but Tonex has the worlds worst software editor/ librarian that doesn’t even allow you to edit the pedal live! You have to audition the captures in a computer software or app and then load them into the pedal all using that abomination of UI. I saw this video moments after relearning the TONEX 1 cryptic control ‘system’ to use with the Fractal VP4 and this Poly pedal seems like a big time upgrade to serve that purpose!
@AmbientEndeavors10 күн бұрын
I did not enjoy the tonex UI / environment , but I suppose many do. For normal tweaking eq and gain this interface is just fine IMO. Only really gets deep if you're doing unique amps on L & R.
