But will allow it to further His purpose. He cause all things to work together for the good of them who love the lord and are the called according to His purpose. We spare ourselves lots of unnecessary troubles by obedience. When I hear these stories I think of Abraham/Sarah/Her Maiden, the war that’s been happening in the Middle East as a result of the confusion between who is the chosen one. David had war in his house, a son raped his half sister, the brother kills him, then wants to kill David and sends him into exile. It’s messy. It’s not a move for Gods people. When it comes to Polgamy and polyamory lifestyles, I consistently hear people try to downplay the effect of sex. They say it really dosent have anything to do with sex and how they just want a village and they want to build an empire. What dosent make sense about that is if thats whats important they why does there need to be a title attached? Why couldn't this just be a group of friends that are close and help eachother out? You can build an empire with friends and start businesses with friends. Titles and sex don't have to have anything to do with this. You don't need to be between anybodys cheeks to build generational wealth. You don't need to be in the bed naked with other people to build community and partnership. In my opinion i wish people would just tell the truth which I believe to be that people want their cake and to have the ability to eat it to. People want sexual variety and the freedom to do so without having to sneak around and without the consequences of divorce. Why can't this be everything they claim it to be about without sex and titles if it doesn't have anything to do with sexual variety?

It can be there are a few polyamorous couples (not all) that don't have sex at all but still cuddle and date. Kind of like if you're in a relationship and Christian and waiting until marriage to have sex and don't want children. That relationship isn't sex based at it's core. Like with any romantic relationship the option is there, but that isn't the focus. Especially when you consider how many asexual people choose to be polyamorous because they can get the close emotional connection and partnership without sex
@anthonyyarborough42319 ай бұрын
A lot of friendships are stifled and are only allowed to be surface level because of the fear that you might appear to be cheating on your current monogamous relationship. When you take away that fear you can have real deep meaningful friendships that can be beneficial and healing in your life. But that can't exist in a monogamous ideology. Left feeling alone you end up cheating and then trust falls apart and that's why the divorce rate is where it is.

They also conveniently leave out *any* of the bad parts. Like they're over there talking like they're always on cloud 9 and never have any issues. As if polyamory is the magic bullet that fixed everything wrong with relationships. But that's simply not the case and never will be the case because humans have natural and normal human emotions such as levels of jealousy, feeling insecure, anxiety, fear, etc. As a friend of many gays, of which most practice open relationships and open marriages, I can tell you my one friend him and his husband practiced in this lifestyle for years. It was all rainbows and butterflies at first until my friend decided he didn't want other people in their relationship anymore. But the other side still wanted it and now what do you do? @@petracain6794 Marriage (according to the Bible and many cultures) was meant to be had between two Virgins. The gluttony is all over. It's easy to say I'm ready to repent and stop being a sexual glutton after you've eaten the entire buffet. Easy to say no more ice cream when you've tried all 31 Flavors 😂 Equally easy to default to a better man after a humiliating divorce (also not Biblical). Easy (trauma-based) decision. But how many people are truly sticking to the script, not just out of convenience or folly of poor decisions/regret from STDs and single motherhood/post-hoedome phases? Easy to mask shame with pseudo-repentance. How about roll with God from Day 1 like he's rolled for you since Day 1. Now THAT's true and Proven loyalty, beyond the words and circumstances. Gotta remove the mote from your own eye. If you can see the speck in someone else's better/bigger than the speck appears as a mote in yours'- then the accountability ain't there.

The poly relationship is reminding me of the saying … how you get them is how you lose him. Instead of her getting a divorce she decided to conform to his ways.
