Fellas, fellas. I started conceptualizing this episode around May of 2017! I even thought to myself: "Man! It would make sense if the Angry Video Game Nerd did an episode on Polybius for Halloween. That sure would kinda way past blow because I want to do an episode on Polybius this Halloween!" Of course right when I finished the script for this, he uploads his episode on Polybius! James did an outSTANDING job this year on the Polybius episode, and so did Ahoy on his video, and even the Gaming Historian on his video! I still think mine is pretty different from all of theirs, I mean none of them have a walking Polybius cabinet. Just wanted to say: I think loads of people have made some pretty stellar Polybius videos this year. I've been planning this one for a while, it really truly was a coincidence that this year everybody happened to make a Polybius video. See ya next Sunday!

idk when this particular Wattpad fanfic was made so I might be incorrect with the dates, but could this have inspired the visual novel Arcade Spirits? Since that game also had Polybius arguably integral to its plot (where a pop star girl was so into arcade games, she didn't care if her music career flopped and just wanted to play a game called Polybius and was reported to have died while holding the cabinet's controller, and the protag later on does find out the pop star's soul was also wooed to stay inside the game)
