I have one of these in the mail and can't wait for it to arrive. Have you played around with all the tracks through usb to your daw? i'm kind of excited for that with all my vst fx plugins.
@MilesAwayOfficial9 ай бұрын
Amazing! Enjoy! And yep - I have played with the multitrack USB over audio it works great in logic x. I couldn’t figure out how to headphone monitor but that was a user error as I’ve seen you can. Really nice audio quality and makes stemming for mixdown easy!

@@MilesAwayOfficial that's great to hear. I'm stoked to experiment with some heavy FX in real time with it. Congrats on your song going viral btw. I saw that post yesterday.

I’m one of the people who bought the Play a few months before the Plus was announced sadly but the new audio features are definitely what is luring me towards a possible upgrade… Just def isn’t a product worth $1300 so im contemplating buying something new instead and just keeping the OG Play as a travel toy… Either way its a really fun device…

A very easy subscription, thank you!

New audio features may get me to upgrade but only owning it a few months before the Plus was released was disappointing as most in my situation would say… I still think it’s a great/fun musical device… but I’m holding off for now… Great demo either way
@MilesAwayOfficial8 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! Yea I totally understand that upgrading is not for everyone, I would say the original Play is still a fantastic Groovebox and Sequencer. I think it really depends on if you want to use it outside the studio (then the synths are really clutch), or if you prefer to use it as a tool in your studio with other synths (then the original is all ya need!)

@@MilesAwayOfficial I hear that... I have too much equipment as it is haha... I picked it up mostly just for personal enjoyment so it has accomplished it's goal tenfold... Using it live or in any of my future music at the moment, dont have plans for... but thats just me and never say never is a proper mantra to be said within any creative art form... It is called the Play so i feel it is meant to be used for fun haha... I'm not bitter about the Plus release just dont think the device is worth close to $1300 after i pay for upgrade and shipping... but if i use it more than a few times in the next several months then ill probably upgrade... see what happens

Excellent video - inspiring stuff. Am I right that there is no tie function?
@MilesAwayOfficial9 ай бұрын
Thank you! And not technically but remember every single step you can change every parameter. So you could do a tie by just having the sample length be longer on that step only, which would make it ring out and tie over to the next step. Does that make sense?
@johngilbert1849 ай бұрын
Many thanks. I thought I had just missed it in the manual! Real appreciate your taking time to reply.
@surfthetsunami55967 ай бұрын
Can it do parameter locks like the digitakt?
@MilesAwayOfficial7 ай бұрын
Late reply but yes! You can change literally everything on a per step basis - sample, filter, pitch - any sample parameter you want :)

Please never buy that and I’m sorry if you got an ad for it. Trash that takes advantage of new producers!!

Wish I could afford the upgrade… wish I had bought this later then they would have been included… hey ho… got try to manifest

Hoping you can make it happen! But either way the original play is still incredible. My #1 thing I use the Play for is glitchy drums in my tracks, and that's something that the original does just as well.

How's the stability of Polyend working for you? I came across some pretty frustrated comments on another video here on KZbin - both from the KZbinr making the video, as well as people on the comments section. One more question, how many total tracks does Polyend Play+ handle? How many synths?
@MilesAwayOfficial9 ай бұрын
Stability has been great since 1.01 beta which is what I filmed this video on. I had issues with the very first firmware it shipped on (not sure if I got an early build for my review unit), but the 1.01 or later that is available now is rock solid :) and it’s 8 voices of synths and 8 voices of samples so 16!
