You are really amazing to be able to speak all these languages with a high degree of fluency. I’m really impressed by this since I have been trying to learn Turkish as a third language (I’m fluent in English and speak Serbo-Croatian at an intermediate level) and I’ve been having some difficulties, not so much with learning new Turkish words and adding them to my vocabulary but rather that the more Turkish I learn the more I forget Serbo-Croatian 😅. I will have conversations with people who speak Serbo-Croatian and I will have to pause in our conversation to try to remember some words in Serbian-Croatian, the word will come to me in English and Turkish but not in Serbo-Croatian, what makes thing troublesome is that there are quite a bit of words in Serbs-Croatian that are of Turkish origin, bašče-bahçe, alat-alet, kraljica-kraliçe are a few examples off the top of my head.

Only in higher education with more complex formula, the first years of school you will have to use pen and paper for math. I guess it's because they expect you to just know how to calculate on paper but the truth is, you will forget most of it quite quickly, when you're used to having a calculator at hand.

I'm half Turkish, half German and I speak German, Turkish, English, French and some bits and pieces of Spanish. Genuinely so impressed with how good you are in those languages. Knowing a bit of different languages is one thing, actually being able to use it as well as you do is impressive. When I visit my grandparents in Turkey I always realize how bad my Turkish actually is. You'd think that since there are so many Turks in Germany, I'd be speaking it a lot and be very good at it, but all the Turks here know German too, so instead of sticking to Turkish or German, most of us speak some weird hybrid form and we swap in German/Turkish words, whichever comes first to mind. Neither the Germans nor the Turks in Turkey can understand what we're saying 😂 When I'm with my relatives in Turkey it usually takes me a week until I can speak whole sentences in turkish without trying to remember the correct vocabulary.
