Dr. Samantha discusses why you should be worried about having too much amniotic fluid. This condition, known as polyhydramnios, can be concerning for expectant mothers and their babies. In this video, we'll dive into the common symptoms, causes, and potential risks associated with polyhydramnios. Don't miss our expert-approved tips on managing this condition and ensuring a healthy pregnancy for both you and your baby. Whether you're a first-time mom or an experienced parent, this informative guide will equip you with the knowledge you need to keep you and your baby healthy.
Polyhydramnios symptoms like a sudden increase in belly size or firmness and urinating more frequently may indicate too much amniotic fluid or an excessive amniotic fluid pregnancy. An amniotic fluid overload with high amniotic fluid levels needs prompt polyhydramnios treatment and management. Swelling of the vulva can also occur with this condition. Recognizing the signs is crucial for ensuring the health of both mother and baby. Consulting a doctor right away is recommended if any polyhydramnios symptoms arise during pregnancy.
