I hope it ends up being a treasure for you, I absolutely love mine! Just an FYI, many "clay" machines, are just pasta machines that they've rebranded! As with most crafts (polymer clay seems to be one of the worst) the tools and supplies are adapted from other hobbies. I have knitting needles, resin tools, and scrapbooking supplies, that I use for clay, everyday, just to name a few, lol!

Thanks, Heidi! I can really tell the difference in quality and I'll be sure to keep it well away from plasticine! 😆

I have the same machine and it’s fabulous! Most layers I know have the same model. It’s an absolute workhorse. Oh and just to let you know, rippling is simply something that occurs at the these setting, no matter the make/model used. Adore your naughty dog, you made me laugh hefting him up onto your lap like that. You are BOTH absolute stars! 😁🤪🐶👍🏻

Thanks, Anita! He sure is a character! Ooh, I didn't know about the rippling - handy to know. It seems the Atlas is a popular choice among polymer artists - I can see why!

I bought a atlas 150 and when I used it on the lowest setting no.1 in the beginning it was so quiet. Now it makes a clicking noise on the dial side is that normal? Thanks

FYI: Chances are if you got it from Amazon it was a used machine. People tend to think that Amazon only sells brand new items when infact the items are actually coming from a third party who sends it to Amazon who then sends it out to the customer..

I don’t make polymer clay. I use either Fimo or Sculpey 👍
