UPDATE: Major derp! I just realized I missed out a section of the tutorial. Once I had done my swirly patterns with the liquid clay, and cured it, I come back with the baked pieces and the cured swirlies, which I lift from the tile with my blade. I explain that I sanded the pieces, then applied liquid clay to each piece, to adhere the liquid clay. Cure again for about ten minutes. I did miss you last week, but I definitely know what it feels like when the creativity decides to take a break. I can’t even begin to imagine the pressure of coming up with something new every week. You might feel like they’re “samesy”, but they’re really not. I’m always impressed with what you come up with. This video was no exception to that. I loved the liquid clay swirls! Very clever technique. I totally agree with you that cutting cured liquid clay is a lot tougher than you expect. I have found that using scissors is a lot easier, but of course that’s not always possible. Your pendants turned out very pretty. Thank you for all the effort and frustration of working through your “block”. You came out with a bang 💗👏🤗
@clayboutique8 ай бұрын
Aww, thank you! Yep, scissors are easier to cut liquid clay, which I ended up doing just to tidy those edges a bit. 💜💜💜💜

A very clever way to use the liquid clays, which I have looked at and wondered how to use. The glitter resin takes the piece a step up. Thanks!

Brilliant idea with the liquid clay!! When I started using polymer clay, I got pretty much every color liquid clay that Sculpey has that I could find. I know how I'm going to use some of it now. And I'm loving that apricot color, it's so pretty ❤

I really enjoy your videos. I check everyday to see if you have done a new one. I enjoyed these but I think for me I would change the top color, cause I would like to see more of the fractures. Just my opinion, they are beautiful!!!!
@clayboutique8 ай бұрын
They’re not supposed to be fractures. It’s just a way to incorporate a very subtle pattern. If you wanted ‘fractures’ you wouldn’t need to change the color, just use a more translucent clay. Thanks!

Amazon has only little cut-out shapes for Earrings. Where can I find them large enough for a brooch or pendant like yours?
