Pompeii is one of the most preserved ancient Roman cities and UNESCO sites. Today, we are taking a tour of the history of the ancient ruins.
Researchers believe that the town was founded in the 7th or 6th century BC by the Osci or Oscans. About 20,000 people lived in this city. Pompeii was a wealthy port city, destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. The entire city was covered in ash and thousands of people buried alive and later unearthed by archaeologists.
In this tour, we visit the gladiator gym, Roman amphitheater, architecture, Roman houses, frescos, Roman steam baths, sauna, and more.

All of Pompeii died because they thought they evacuated far enough but sadly were very wrong they hid in caves but the eruption of the volcano buried them in ash which can travel 200mph unfortunately they did not die of suffocating the ash from the volcano which can be as high as 1200 degrees for example an average oven can only go 800 degrees so the people died of breathing In that ash and burning from the outside and inside that’s why there faces in the ash look suffering--have a wonderful day!!

They also turned into stone. We actually learned about it a bit today at school and we’re gonna learn more. People thought if they were covered, (in a house) they would be fine. It’s really sad
@MrYfrank14
@MrYfrank14 Жыл бұрын
How can they turn to stone? Everything I ever heard from the experts say they were buried by the ash. The body decomposed and left a void where the body was. Plaster was poured into the void which used the void as a mold. When the ash was removed you got an impression of the person . I supposed you could look at the plaster casts and think they were made out of stone.

@@RunTheAtlas No, one of the statues in a villa was a modern copy of an ancient statue now in Naples museum, but the large centaur with a spear in the main forum is a modern artwork. Italians often do this at ancient sites because no-one wants to see modern artworks for their own sake.

In 62 AD, a great earthquake damaged the city of Pompeii. After being rebuilt in a bigger and grander way in 79 AD However, in the same year, Mount Vesuvius experienced a violent eruption again destroying the City of Pompeii, this time even more severe and even eliminated its existence from the world maps in just one night. . The volcanic ash of Mount Vesuvius buried the city of Pompeii for about 1600 years before being rediscovered by modern archaeologists by accident. No one survived the cataclysm. Its inhabitants died hardened into stone under heaps of lava and volcanic ash. The Roman glory in the City of Pompeii is only a memory that continues to fade with time. The extermination of the City of Pompeii from the face of the earth was not without purpose. From historical records, the City of Pompeii is a center of immorality and evil which is filled with locations for adultery and prostitution. At that time, the people of Pompeii often carried out a tradition of parties and struggles that were full of violence. Gay and heterosexual sexual activity in this city.After 1600 years have passed since the devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius, archaeologists in 1748 rediscovered the City of Pompeii by accident. The city was buried in a thick layer of dust, all the buildings and the entire city were buried beneath it. Many human bodies were found in a state of preservation in various poses. Most of the preserved bodies were found in a state of doing various activities. There is one family that is preserved while eating food. One of the most surprising was the discovery of a body whose position looked like it was having sexual activity. Some couples have the same sex (homosexual), some are underage male and female partners. The expressions on each of the bodies were different, some were beaming, but more were like surprise. It was as if the cataclysm of Mount Vesuvius came suddenly in the blink of an eye. The incident of the destruction of Pompeii is considered a punishment from God because it is very similar to the story of the destruction of the disbelievers in the holy books of the Qur'an, the Bible, and the Torah in heavenly religions.The excavation process for the ruins of Pompeii has ended. Throughout the history of the world of archaeology, Pompeii has been the single most intact site that did not need to be reconstructed when it was discovered. Pompeii has now become one of the popular tourist destinations in Italy. Many tourist products offer the experience of exploring Pompeii, experiencing the glory of Rome in the first century AD. Since it opened for tourism, Pompeii has never been deserted by tourists from around the world. ALLAHUAKBAR ALLAHUAKBAR ALLAHUAKBAR!!!🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
