This dude is a great guy., He realizes her talent, he loves her, she loves him, and they accept each other for who they are. At least that's what it seems like to me. If only every person in life could find something so special. God bless you guys, this song is my lullaby......I'm a struggling alcoholic and I fight night-terrors, and voices and shit, but this helps me out tremendously. Thank you.

This is like a lullaby that makes me feel like I could die a happy, go to Heaven or re-live my childhood again, or something as epic as that. She has the most pleasant voice I've ever heard. They make a great couple.

I love the intimacy in this version. Nataly is really singing it TO Jack; her eyes are so expressive as she looks at him. This is what everyone deserves to find in life: Someone to whom they can sing a song with this much love and meaning.

wow this is an amazing cover!very unique voice.love it! better than the original? no way :)it really saddens me that so much people don't appreciate Mark as a solo artist. his songs have so much depth and he is a great storyteller.in some parts of Makin' Out he sounds happy (tonight, we throw ourselves away) and tortured in other (I'd split my sides in for you). for me, that's just beautiful.

Kate Hon Kate. Mark's version is great - but when Nataly and Jack perform this it's not just a voice & instruments, it's as if the emotion of love is being transformed directly into a beautiful sound. I'm just an ordinary guy, but listening to this version totally absorbs me and leaves me choked and lost for words. It puts the original into the shade.

+syazwinasaw - I totally agree, except that I believe Mark's invitation goes further than a blessing. All credit to Mark for the writing of the song and for his own performance, which I guess inspired Pomplamoose to cover it - but I certainly get the feeling that it's also an acknowledgement by himself that the Pomplamooose version suits the mood of the lyrics far better than his own (otherwise, maybe he'd have had this song of love coming to his wife directly from his own voice). The love that Nataly imparts into this song still chokes me up every time I hear it. Wow.....

Bill1949 WT Mark's acoustic version is very comparable in mood to this version. This interpretation was not their idea first. I also think you're reading way too much into an invitation to sing at his wedding. Maybe he had another song planned to sing to his wife. Maybe he wanted to enjoy the day, not worry about performing, and just be the audience.

Agree completely. This gentler arrangement is much more appropriate to the lyrics. There is a tangible tension in the relationship that this version expresses MUCH better than the original.

TrapEgroeg Or it's a group based in America so they have a wider population to pull from. Also, Mark Owen gets a lot of undeserved prejudice crap because he's in what is technically a boy band, although they have developed far beyond that description.

Because of the video, I watched all the way through (not a big acoustic fan, though this recording and mix is beautiful). I like how they concentrate respectfully on the music and each other, one musician to another. It's neat, it's understated, so it has all this secret energy. Made me smile ALOT

I find the simplicity in your vocal style very lovely. Without the overused vocal gymnastics that a lot of people try to do today the tone and quality of your voice has to stand on it's own, and it does that wonderfully.
