I live in a neighborhood of about 100 homes all using well water. I did a lot of research in 2019 and pressure tanks stink. “Electronic” Constant pressure systems are ok but intended for housing developments and not single family homes although they market them that way. Then there are mechanical “cycle stop valves.” The electronic systems are very expensive And the circuit boards have a tendency to fail and that is a huge bill. The mechanical cycle stop valves have no electronic circuits to fail on dirty power and hold constant pressure even if a toilet is flushed while in the shower or under any additional load. Under $500. People who have an out of pocket circuitboard failure migrate to the mechanical systems. No compensation just seeing lots of happy users with the mechanical systems. I even have my irrigation hydrant solutions built into the system. Worth looking into.😊

I was screaming at my phone “use the ventrac to move the pea gravel!” So glad you did that. However, once you were running the diesel ventrac, I was screaming at my phone “oh my God, that things is about to stall out spinning its tires in gravel!” So thankful we have the Z model ventracs. The fuel consumption may be a problem for some, but the superior power they deliver makes me thankful we never even considered a diesel model.

Not sure about Iowa but in Nebraska the Fisheries Division of the Nebraska Game and Parks will have Fisheries Biologists assist people with their pond stocking strategies along with structure recommendations. Back in the day they would also give away excess fish hatchery stock which was fairly abundant.
