Home come a game that's 20 years old looks and feels better than current iteration of The Sims? How come EA and Maxis don't get a hint and take The Sims 2 as the guideline for TS4 or TS5? 😮🤔😢

because nowadays theres no care and effort put into the sims 4, focusing on dlc that no one asked for, and their main goal to be making a ton of money rather than giving the people what they want, where as the sims 2 is so alive and fresh despite being 20 years old, because will wright & rod humble and the other creators truly put everything into it, and now they’ve left. rod humble has left to form new projects like life by you! life simulators are his passion and im so glad he is doing the community jusfice

A simple answer to this is... Simmers are sheep. I applogize but most simmers ARE sheep. They keep buying sims dlc knowing nothing of how it is made and what tactics EA uses to keep them buying. It is baffling to me that it took 10 years for the community to figure out that sims 4 is a scrapped multiplayer game that will never stink up to its potential, let alone to old games in the franchise. This was obvious when the game launched.

@@mihailoveselinovic7151 i completely agree, i also think a younger generation of simmers don’t understand and see life simulators as the sims 4 alone, most of them never having played anything beforehand from the franchise. they settle for it because it’s all they know, and they see simple graphics and prefer the art style over older games because it is what they’re used to. they rely on the massive sims 4 cc community that does so much work to add new things to the game that the developers do not care about anymore or aren’t focused on.

no unfortunately I don’t!! the same case with a lot of sims 2 creators is with the amount of cc we use it is very difficult to upload the stuff we make, you can download this pond lot though in my description! it isn’t made by me, but i redid the lot with bunch of cc plants, the lot comes with a bunch of new plants you can use to recreate what i have done if you’d like!

looking at Sims 2 and Sims 4, I realized Sims 3 is the one looking very realistic while Sim 2 and 4 look more like cartoon style. Not bad tho, just different, like apples and oranges

as a lot of comments are agreeing with here, sims 2 shocks a lot of people with its detail, but in comparison to sims 3, it does look more cartoony, or just less realistic. some people prefer the cartoony style that sims 4 has, some people are most comfortable with the classic sims 2 style, i rarely see people preferring sims 3 based on realism and see more rathering the latter tbh, specifically sims 4. not here tho! ive seen not a single sims 4 preferer in these comments

@@100simcats 😂 I do love TS4 (proven by how much money I spent on it), and TS2 is simply a masterpiece, yet graphic wise tho I prefer TS3 perhaps because I played TS3 the longest (and my PC is compatible so it runs pretty smoothly with almost no lags despite TS3 open world), but TS2 is still masterpiece no doubt😌

it only has two lots… i hate to break the immersion! but im gonna be building more lots and the houses of hilda and jep bee, i just placed a ton custom trees around a random terrain in that area to create the forest😭 but i have a world of my own that is very dear to me, opal valley, i have a lot of videos playing in it and will be doing a tour when ive upgraded it a bit. its where the florist’s house was built in one of my recent videos!

which forest are you talking about exactly ? because the pond lot is available in the description, i have gone in and added a lot of the plants and trees though so it won’t look exactly the same! the lot comes with lots of plants already you can use to decorate it more!!
