I'm seeing LOTS of limestone boulders. How does this do? Does it raise the ph too much to make a balance between plant/animal?

We don't use limestone, we use a sandstone called "Laguna Rock". PH is stable and we have never had an issue. :)

I love your ponds, and I love the way you do them. I have watched them from all over the country and all over the world. What I notice in all of them is the lack of PPE. Do you all have dispensation from CalOSHA not to have to wear it and from your workers comp? You do realize they can see all your videos and could prove without a doubt that you have a policy of not requiring PPE. They will take you to ground if they ever figure this out. One accident, you have lost your workers comp and CalOSHA will be merciless. Ask me how I know...

Do the turtles walk out of the yard?

The client with all of the turtles has a fenced in yard built for the turtles. A lot of clients will put a small fence around the pond (about a 1 foot tall) if they have turtles. They do tend to wander around and could potentially leave the yard if they are new to the pond. So first few months for a new turtle they should be kept within a small fence. They will come back to the pond, but if they are searching for sunlight, they will go to where ever they can find it. Hope that helps.

@@CaliforniaWaterscapes Thanks for that, I wasn’t sure if they remained solely inside the perimeter of the pond, or like some species, wander in search of better pastures.

@@MrCites1 They stay close enough, but they will definitely wander haha. Especially in the first few weeks of being introduced, they might get confused and wander farther than they should and get lost, it's a good idea to keep an eye on them until they know it's their home.
