what year? i have a scan tool to put the bcm in learn mode if i have to but id like cheap and simple, instead of having to wire in alarm systems on all my cars just to get the door locks working!

I think after the year 2000 this method will not work on Grand am's. You can hold down the unlock key & the car will beep one time. But you will not be able to program your fob.

I have a 2004 the car honks but isn't registering the fobs. It also doesn't lock and unlock like many other video. Any help would be appreciated

I just bought a 2003 Grand am GT last week it only came with one key fob now I read that a program scanner is needed and I noticed you didn't do that you did it the way it is shown on a lot of KZbin videos so if I purchase a key fob identical to mind do you think it would work the same way that you did?

Yes it should be same way as long as it’s not Chinese key fob

I will have to try this because I ordered a key fob and it didn’t work because my year didn’t come with one

If you bought brand new ones you will need to buy a key fob programmer it’s like 50$ of Amazon! This would only work for key fob that was originally programmed to the car. Let me know if have any questions

I have 2002 GA SE2 V6, the original key fob was broken so I buy new one, and this does not seem to work either. 😔

U have to have original one next to new one to make it work
