That is the mark of a good villain, where you can simply listen to what they are planning and why it is and be able to respond with: _"You're not Wrong..."_ There have been several such villainous characters throughout Media: Magneto from _X-Men,_ Kuvira from _Legend of Korra,_ Red-Eye from _Fallout: Equestria,_ to name a few.

I... I don't remember buying a ticket for this "Feels-Train"?? o_0 but oh what a wonderful ride it was... the Pony's and Changelings have always had a symbiotic relationship.. It is only after all the tragedy of this does Chrysalis see the Harmony brought on by it when left to grow on it's own.. Wow Scribbler this was an amazingly powerful story you've beautifully told. thank you.

I think this is set right before, like during, the season 2 finale and Discord breaks out, seemingly serious and mad, and causes chaos forcing Chrysalis to reveal herself and rush to her hive.

As much as she was a villain in the full canon, I can't help but reflect if things were different for Chrysalis like in this fiction. Is she a villain who's been consumed by ambition? Or is she a person who's been hardened by the horrors of survival which could've been tempered with acts of kindness, love, compassion, and comfort? Fics like these that you give us Scribbler are just as entertaining as thought-provoking. :) Thanks again. :)

You'll need editing software for it, but it's basically copy-pasting the line and lowering the pitch of the second to create a double-layered effect.
