I got my hands on a billiards cue that people used before the pool cue we know today was used. I challenged one of the best pool players in Chicago to a race to see if he could beat me with the old technology. See who wins!

In BCA, it is cue ball fouls only. Since bumping the 7 didn't affect the outcome of the shot the opponent gets the choice of leaving the 7 where it is or moving it back, but the shooter continues their inning.

@@Kazooiemusic i like it, it's a nice middle ground between bar rules and wpa where if your shirt brushes an object ball (not even moves it) that's ball in hand for your opponent.

@@kameronpeterson3601 I play in the UK as part of the division 1 team; and yeah, im used to if your shirt touches it, FOUL! I only know these kind of rules, but I do like it; I think it helps you be a better player and aware of your surroundings! 🙂

Not in BCA, which is the rules they agreed upon before playing. Fouls, even on break, result in ball-in-hand anywhere on the table.

After a light google search there are BCA (kitchen) and BCAPL (in hand) rulebooks. I was just "breaking balls" tho it is good to know there are 2 rule sets now.

@AdamMarr it's not just the rules that make APA a widely disliked league (even many of the people that play it dislike it). It's more about the way it's ran along with the lack of payout (unless you win in Vegas, but even then, the payout is a very tiny fraction of what that league is taking from the players overall). To call him childish just because he doesn't like a league isn't really fair.

@@Amateur_Pool Had he made a thought out argument, I'd agree, but instead he came onto a channel with 2 APA league players, playing APA rules and called APA a joke, which is just silly and childish and not constructive. Plenty of tournys I've played in use slop rules for 8 and 9 and they are not APA based. 9 is almost always slop, and those are the rules the pros generally play by, so are they a joke? I know calling out trolling and unconstructive criticism on small pool creator channels is probably a waste of time, but I'll keep doing it anyway. I've done it to people posting on your channel, and others, its a pet peev.
