So how is the BKRush+ comapred to the McDermott Stinger? I have the stinger currently and was thinking about getting the BKRush +
@toddmichael66002 жыл бұрын
@@isurmise2424 Hello! The stinger has a little bit larger of a tip diameter, so you get more of a 'true strike' with it. Contact point of the cue ball for jumping is a little bit more forgiving as well. WITH THAT SAID, the CF shaft on the BKRush is much stiffer and does not flex as much as wood, so if you strike true you will get more action on the ball (for the most part). In addition, the butt/shaft of the BKRush is lighter overall, allowing you get transfer more power into break shots. I actually have to dial it back a little bit on breaking so that I can control the cue ball a little more. Overall, practice will allow you to get used to one over the other. Good luck!

I really like the jump break combination cues, but you do make a slight slight sacrifice in both to have it do both jobs when compared to having individual cues for both.

Yes, enjoy your videos. 3 ball break in 1 = graze head ball solid 2nd ball w/draw Medium speed 1ball hits side 1 ball banks one rail cross side corner 2 ball goes 1 rail long to corner 3 ball goes to pocket. if speed is wrong you can scratch. Everything correct three balls one shot.

Another great video as usual Chris. I doubt lightning will strike twice and I win another cue, but you never know. Regardless if I win or lose I love your videos and I think its amazing how you give these away to people free of charge, it just shows the kind of man you really are. I hope God blesses you and your family!

Just recently got into billiards again after being away from a table for more than 10 years. Found this channel along with FXB and Dr. Dave, and you all have helped me tremendously. I rather like your livestreams where you go through your thought process and the what and why of the shots. Very nice.
@RichardsWorld Жыл бұрын
I see you mention the "pop" break with cue ball jumping in the air and landing in the middle of the table. When I'm doing decent that's how I break with a regular cue. I seen somewhere someone said the cue ball isn't popping up in the air with the low deflection shafts because the cue ball isn't being deflected or driven in to the table as much. He had to adjust his break to purposefully drive the cue ball in to the table. I noticed when you tried the pop break it didn't jump at all.
@LilChrisPoolPlayer Жыл бұрын
"I noticed when you tried the pop break it didn't jump at all" I'm not sure what you meant by this because on all three breaks the cue ball does pop into the air and land back on the table.

Well the locals here think I'm a hustler anyway... So adding this cue to my case wouldn't hurt my image and with practice I might even be able to jump balls. I have only done one legal jump in my life and that was with someone else's new jump cue who didn't know how to use it. I tried it and it worked... I didn't say I made the object ball but at least I jumped the ball that was in the way. Hopefully you get a lot of views on this and are able to send the cue out soon. And a happy new year to you also. As with all of your videos that was a great demonstration of the use of a cue. The BK Rush not only breaks great but jumps great also. I have been playing pool for a good while and until recently have been trying to decide between a jump cue or a break cue. Your demonstration shows how much more sense it makes to have two in one. Keep up the good work.

Excellent demonstration as always Lil’ Chris. As someone that has been using a 25 oz. Rage break/jump cue, I’ve come to realize lighter is better. Ive heard mention of the Predator BK Rush but did not know all the particulars. I’ve been contemplating which jump cue I should purchase and I like what you’ve highlighted in this cue. My height at 5’9” should not be a factor either so thanks for pointing that out as well. I too like the wrap on my Predator Sport 2 shooting cue but don’t mind not having a wrap on a break cue as my rage is wrap free and I am comfortable with it. Thanks once again LC for doing such a great job profiling this cue… I’m sold. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
