WDR isn't wide screen, it stands for Wide Dynamic Range and it's the ability of the camera to capture light and shadow values, so it can record more details in high lights and dark shadows.

If you turn loop recording off the camera will record until the sd card if full. It will not overwrite previous data logged and the camera will then stop recording. At this point you must eject the card and erase it, or format the card again in the unit. On the timed loop modes it is different it will overwrite when the sd card is full and will still record in selected loop mode setting. Dont find this out the hard way.

I have an outlet that has the option of being on 24/7. If I plug it into that outlet, will the dash can be running all night long even when the car is off? I tested it and this seemed like it was on and it wasn’t turning off. Is there a mode where It won’t be loop recording 24/7? Don’t want it draining my battery either

How will you know if it records while it’s in park

It doesn't know if its in park, only if the car is off. If you are using the 12v accessory socket power adapter, then it will turn off and on based on when your accessory socket is energized. Easy way is just to watch the backlight on the buttons when you get in the car but before you turn on the car. This is easier at night. Do the buttons glow red all night long? If so, then it continues to record even when the car is off. If the there is no backlight until after you turn on the car, then the dash cam is recording only when the engine is on. If you find your dashcam is powered up only when your car is on, and you'd rather have it record 24/7, just have an autosound shop hardwire the dashcam to the fuse box, taping into a constant 12+. They shouldn't charge much for this, as its the simplest thing to do, 30-45min labor.

I appreciate the information, but the camera loosing focus on the unit made it hard to watch. Next video it might help to have a stationary camera and have the unit lying on something so that it stays the same distance from the camera. And maybe point at the buttons with a pen or something that won’t block them like your fingers.

WDR is wide dynamic range, not widescreen, just leave it on. Also for motion sensor and parking mode is needs to have continuous power, in my car I have intentionally hard wired to a fuse which is not continuous, but comes on when the ignition is on, but if I needed these 2 functions I would hard wire to a continuous power source, in my car that would be electric folding mirrors which operates when the key is not in

Whenever i feel like i want to shoot Video of both the Front doors these cameras have Option to Shoot outside at any time like a Vlogger and do not want to shoot video of (Front and inside the Rear Room) , then the SKYBLUESEA B2W & CAMSONIC ULTRA Z 2 & 3 Dash Cam Benefits if a person want to shoot a video outside the front doors sides Left & Right. Option like Rear View Mirror , would be easy to change the direction to record Multiple Angles like a Pro Photographer of both the Cams accordingly , option to Rotate , as they Rotates 180 degrees and covers the area least 140 or 160 degrees each Cam on both the Door sides , like Rear view Mirror Angle . I love those Dash Cams . My suggestion to the Dash Cam Manufacturers .

Larry Murillo A file system is for storage just like an empty toolbox with separators, if you put the spacers too close you can't fit the long hammer. Cluster size is like the size of each unit of free space used for storage. The Camera expects a specific arrangement. just format the memory card with the camera menu

The latest firmware does not have "motion sensor" and "parking monitor". Because users have found it causes corrupt files which sometimes defeats the continuous looping of the video, because the device can't delete the corrupt file.

the red light on the buttons continue to blink, you can put black electrical tape over it, they don't turn off. The screen can be turned off, using the buttons or using the screen saver menu option to set it to turn off after a duration of time.
