I met a woman who worked in the hotel I always stayed at in Boracay. I been to Philippines over 40 times since 2006. I love it there. Anyway I ended up adopting this woman as my sister and her husband is a fisherman and they have 4 beautiful kids, I helped put the 2 eldest thru college and I always take care of them. They call me Tito Frank. They are so precious. They are like my family, they are my family. Your video seems like a similar story. Such nice people , they deserve a break in life. What seems so small to us is a lifetime to them. Tell your parents thanks for being so kind, and you too. God loves you

Yes, this was a very moving video. We Americans sometimes get so frustrated with our "First World" problems (paying the mortgage, keeping our jobs, maintaining our expensive lifestyles) that we forget we have the power to make a dramatic difference in the lives of others living in "Third World" circumstances. Your parents can be proud that they have made such a difference. Even though it might be a small financial commitment from our perspective, sponsoring a child is a very big responsibility that often must be carried on over a long period of time. Actually visiting your sponsored child must be an exhilarating experience.

We traveled back there this past summer for my daughters wedding which took place in Davao city Philippines. I have several kids I help in that area. Me and my wife send balikbayan boxes and money to keep them in school.
