nothing head cannons can’t fix! My personal one is that Macaque couldn’t bring himself to get all emotional about his past during their fight. Without that emotional push Wukong wasn’t able to be set free by Macaque.

This is exactly one of the main points why I love this animatic, JJTW AND LMK. It's not like other shows in a way which is really fresh. And I love how LMK still kept the part where both parties will never truly be able to recover but they work together to learn from it and help others and patch up. Universe/10

0:59 is my favorite part omg. It has so much character in it how swk acts all casual and then dramatically dodges because macaque shoots at him. It’s funny, it’s also accurate to them, and it shows that macaque isn’t willing to deal with swk’s antics. It’s also just really fun to watch the poses and expressions. I sound insane talking about a 3 second animation but I just think it’s neat!!!! And I watch it over and over again

I am damn near speechless. This is some phenomenal work, and the effort and love you’ve put into this truly shows! every frame is such a treat to the eyes and every little detail i can’t help but stare at. I don’t commonly comment on animations, but this one caught my full attention. The impact frames on their fight when Macaque took MK’s powers made my eyes widen, and the reveal of his scar in the same scene made my jaw dropped. there is something so appealing about your art, but i don’t think it’s just ‘something’, i think it’s any and everything; the way you draw hands is very clean and is super on point. The way you draw hair is so satisfying to see. And your sense of anatomy is something i can’t help but admire to the fullest extent! I’m so glad you worked on an incredible project like this for a show i adore! your content and art is one that feels similar to that of the first crisp breeze in autumn, and has the impact of a lightning strike. Well in this moment of video I had in mind popular theory that Wukong was somehow controlled by the circlet. I like this idea cause it doesn't justifies his actions but makes it easier for the macaque to forgive him

I'm not going to lie I o Honestly think that wukong was going easy on macaque because he didn't want to badly hurt him or kill macaque again but macaque on the other hands wanted to kill wukong or badly hurt him he said in the season four special he thought of wukong as a bad guy so I think wukong was going easy on macaque while macaque wanted to hurt or kill wukong bc he thought of wukong as a bad guy that's just my opinion and I want to hear yours

Oh definitely, Wukong was holding back. That is until he was possesed by DBK but even then (in my animatic at least) Wukong didn't want to hurt Macaque that's why he snapped out of her control

I think even under DBKs control he was still holding back and he didn't cause macaque to bleed he just hurt him enough to defeat him and then he snapped out of DBKS control and I think there is a possibility that wukong and macaque can become friends again
