Great fab work!!! A lot of people don't understand how difficult it is, building a turbo set up with limited space. There's quite a few things to take into consideration. Especially, when it comes to the size of that turbo. I am, however, curious to see what the IAT's will be when finished. Keep up the amazing work.

@@ReignitedAuto I know it's more complicated, but I recently had a meth injection setup installed. It's definitely worth it. For simplification, just run washer fluid instead of boost juice. Readily available and cheaper. Good luck with your decision.

Why not mount the turbo under the car like the Hellion sleeper turbi kits.
@ReignitedAuto2 жыл бұрын
There's definitely more room for twins down there, but a big single turbo definitely not. Although the primary reason is I wanted both the supercharger and turbocharger visible in the engine bay. 👍
@theweekendwarrior63552 жыл бұрын
@@ReignitedAuto makes perfect sense if that's what you were going for. But if you want a hood that closes, you can always go for the hidden twin turbo set up. Is a cool build either way been enjoying watching it.
@ozysniper Жыл бұрын
Just a question, but with going separate exhaust banks feeding a twin scroll turbo won't you need 2 wastegates?
@ReignitedAuto Жыл бұрын
kzbin.info/www/bejne/d32ng4RrirqbpZY in this latest video you can see how I went about it. Technically yes it would be best to use dual wastegates, but I figured that with the single wastegates where it is I shouldn't get too much crossover. I'm not married to the twin scroll concept either because even though I have the banks separated, too be truly twin scroll I should have paired certain cylinders together. As it is there's probably plenty of exhaust turbulence already 😄

That's coming up in a few weeks! The feed will be coming from where the oil pressure sensor is, and the return will be going straight back to the oil pan. 👍

RWDs has so much room at front suspension vs AWDs 😐 I was thinking to install turbo under that tray, front of tire and behind bumper. Do you think you could fit ur´s there, or not enough room?
@Slagtrap2 жыл бұрын
Nice work! Just a suggestion, when purging you need to have an actual “outlet” for the argon to exhaust from. It’s not only that there’s argon on the backside it also needs to flow or exchange old for new gas so there isn’t any oxygen trapped in there. Another thing is even though there are gaps in the joints when they are eventually sealed up there will be internal pressure building up, this can and will blow out puddles if it gets high enough.
@ReignitedAuto2 жыл бұрын
Right you are, I didn't mention I drilled a small hole in one of the exhaust valves to let the argon flow 👍

Um, this maybe a very stupid question, but why are you installing both a Super-Charger and Turbo-Charger on this engine? Doesn’t each piece basically performs similar functions with compressed intake air flow? Sorry if this question sounds dumb….
@ReignitedAuto2 жыл бұрын
Not a stupid question at all Eric, more like a stupid idea! 😄 in theory the roots style supercharger will do two things, provide boost at lower rpm before the turbo catches up, and two, it has the effect of making the engine seem larger displacement than it actually is. This means there will be a higher volume of air flowing through it, which will spin the turbo faster. This is the theory, but in actuality it would probably be more efficient with just the turbocharger, since at higher rpm the supercharger will essentially become a restriction in the intake. The truth is, all the added complexity of doing both is likely not worth any real benefit, I've just always wanted to do it. 😄
@ewconway2 жыл бұрын
@@ReignitedAuto Thank you for the explanation. I kind of understand what you are saying…… either way, you want to install both and that is the goal. Go for it 👍

Really curious on the fuel system setup you plan to use, idk what boost numbers you're going for or if you're sticking with pump gas
@ReignitedAuto2 жыл бұрын
The plan is currently pump gas. I'm well aware of the benefits of e85, but the drawbacks are too much for me. Planning on using Hellcat injectors with a 400lph fuel pump. Return style fuel system with adjustable regulator. That's the plan so far anyway. Shooting for 650whp with this setup. 👍

Call me crazy, but for some of these turbo installs, the piping looks like a tuba or some other musical instrument! The fab work was really awesome! I'm just curious, how fast do you go through gas when you back purge like that? My harbor freight mig/tig box has a fixed post-flow (Even for mig) and I go through gas like crazy, even if I turn it down to 15cf/h (I usually shoot for 20). I do lots of stitch welding because I'm doing body work. Really looking forward to see this guy come alive. If you are going to return it to stock, are you going to sell the system? I don't have a Magnum, but I bet you one of your subscribers do. Heck, maybe fab up some jigs using the setup you have and then sell complete tubing sets?

I'm interested in your opinion, is porting the stock manifold on a 2011-2014 5.7 Hemi worth it? Other mods include 85mm t.b. Flowmaster mufflers, resonator delete, cai, 6.4 exhaust manifolds, and currently diablo tune(it's understood that a ported intake would require more than a canned tune). Thanks, keep the hemi videos coming!

No. Get a 392 intake manifold with active runners.; 85mm TB is also a waste and not required
