Context matters....When Pure Heroine was released in 2013, it influenced and changed pop music with its subject matter, tone, sparse electro beats and minimalism. She really doesn't get the credit she deserves in that regard.

Nah i think she did, same with Adele in 2011 and then in 2015. They all changed the landscape and it was jarring, but at the time she most definitely got the credit she deserved

You should definitely give Solar Power a listen. It's a complete 180 from Pure Heroine and Melodrama but yet very connected. It is more mature and divisive. I personally think that it is alongside Melodrama her most impressive project. That's my opinion though. I'm not knocking Pure Heroine by the way, it's amazing in a different way.

Lorde wrote this album at only 15 years old and changed pop music and music in general, she become in a really short time the most influential artist worldwide, she wrote royals in only half an hour during a school break, and u already know that lorde is THE QUEEEN, u should react to solar power, and be open minded because if u want hear the same type of music over and over listen to lana or dua lipa or Taylor, lorde tried a complete new genere, and u will love it, I recommend you listen it outside, walking in a park
