Bloody hell Carl, you're a rough builder. Take a leaf out of Mark's book lol😅 thanks for the upload fellas

Nice work. Funny how innocuous accidents sometimes cause the most damage.

unlucky to clip the barrier where it was sticking out

So annoying when the smallest of crashes does the most damage, yet you can drive away from cataclysmic crashes

I did the same thing to my TA08 Pro… in the process of rebuilding it now!!!

It’s a shame that happened so close to the end of the race. Think all 3 of us would have been so close at the end! Connor also had to replace his chassis and lower arm after the race.
@stephenlay958014 күн бұрын
Probably a good thing as the old chassis Probably has alot of wear,🤷♀️ and people can see it's not so scary to build or rebuild a car .Great video mate 👍

If your garage is hot and cold and sitting that long just got brittle but great racing
@barrycheesemore292814 күн бұрын
That didn't look like a big impact, but it just goes to show how easy it can be to break something! At least the TT01 is cheap and easy to fix. I'm currently running an Xpress XQ3S, and so far I've only broken the left rear body post and the right front spool outdrive, the car has been really solid otherwise....
@PopalongRC14 күн бұрын
the barrier had a kink so rear wheel drove into the end of the guttering

Hi what gear ratios are you guys running? And are the core 21 motors you run better than the touqe tuned ones?
@archer809614 күн бұрын
Torque tuned are 25T I think? I ran a base spec TT02 at a GT event at my local club. Some people were running Core 21T motors which were definitely quicker on the straights. Not a huge difference of course, but enough to get the edge

That breakage is more common than you think. Chassis need replacing more often, might look ok but all that outdoor then indoor then outdoor racing fuggs the plastic
@PopalongRC14 күн бұрын
nice new chassis now for the next indoor season
@leedavies226714 күн бұрын
@PopalongRC recommend you have a dedicated indoor and a dedicated outdoor car.

That's the problem with [toygrade] Tamiya. You only have to blow on them and they break.

Watching the video of the crash you can see the marshal / spectator pick up what i suspect is your missing dogbone :)

To be honest , i think you'd be better off with the kyosho Fazer RC car chassis , rather than the Tamiya TT01 & 2 chassis base 🤣🤣🤣 .
