What I Learned: 1 - Coke is a throat clearer 2 - Box has no love for the shrimp 3 - The red tie means spicy! 4 - The little known origin of the phrase "Surf & Turf" 5 - Biscuits are an afterthought
@RuSosan2 жыл бұрын
1. Is unironically true. I once lost my voice and got a sore throat in the middle of running a game of D&D. Felt like my throat was coming down with the flu or something that causes similar symptoms. Then I drank a can of coke and let out that full caustic bubble burp through my nose. Throat cleared in an instant. I tell ya, Coke is like goddamn Xenomorph blood with added sugar.

I agree I love their chicken sandwich but a month ago I had one that had twice as much breading on it as usual and the meat seemed off also. I didn't eat more than a couple bites. I guess the employee that saw that chicken thought it was good to go. I've also had items from them that seem to have been sitting awhile.

Alot of it is just their workers, and they try to mainly hire african americans.. as a black owned business thats understandable.. but its not worked in their favor... for instance my popeye's shuts downs 1 hour earlier then closing time just cause their ghetto employees are lazy scum fucks who like early closing times to get out of work under the guise of sanitation.. and ours has had whites sue for discrimination cause of it... and the taste of their food reflects that each time ive ever been.. Point blank you'd be better off eating gas station food then 90% of popeyes... only go to ones that arent majority black staffed.. not a racist just a realist.

You must have a lot of problems eating at restaurants. I can't think of many places that don't cook seafood
@vickiibendit9432 жыл бұрын
@@opossumsauce4472 I don’t go out often. Most restaurants are ventilated well enough that I don’t have much of an issue with the odor. The biggest issue is hidden ingredients. For instance, Worcestershire sauce has anchovies in it. Anchovies are fish. Sooooo - I have to ask, “Does this have Worcestershire sauce in it or the marinade? Please ask in the kitchen.” I’ve learned to take my epipen with me and place it on the table. They seem to take it more seriously when you do that. Also I’ve had to become an avid label reader. I’m allergic to the proteins, not iodine. This includes seaweeds and algae. Blue green algae is used in many, many preservatives. There’s over 30 names for it in food use. Google and my iPhone have become a necessity when shopping. I use very few prepackaged meals. Chinese, Japanese, well any Asian food is basically out. Many Asian recipes calls for Oyster or Fish sauce; many broths, even chicken broths, have these sauces in it. I have a few local places I can eat at - and many I can’t even walk in the doors.
@user-sw4qd2up2s2 жыл бұрын
Legally restaurants are supposed to use separate fryers for seafood. You can actually sue them if you get sick. Just like if they serve something with nuts or nut oil in it, with out posting it or verbally telling you. It's a Food Safety violation.

Thank you for advocating for us who eat the tail. I really appreciate it, because everyone calls me insane. Knowing you have eaten a tail or two in your time makes me feel less alone.
@rickyjames16592 жыл бұрын
You shoukdnt eat the tail. Small pieces of the tail can become lodged in your intestinal tract and become infected. I know a doctor who said he has had to remove more shrimp tails, fishbones and fingernails from being lodged in and infecting peoples intestines on more than a few occasions. Even if you chew very well, the shell just doesn't break down enough during the process and you actually run a real risk of having to have surgery to remove the small pieces. Moral to the story, straight from a doctor: Dont eat the tail of shrimp.

Does ReviewBrah have bloopers? I genuinely want to know or is he just ALWAYS so perfect with his words that he doesn't need to edit anything. I'm sure as every other YT personality out there they make sure everything is setup & ready for the perfect video but I'd really love to see a ReviewBrah blooper reel.
