This week it is the great league, ultra league, and master league.
Pokemon Go just teased a Popplio community day. It is likely to get its move hydro cannon which will make this a significantly better pokemon.
How well will Primarina do with hydro cannon

It has officially been announced but will also get the charged attack Sparkling Aria. It is 85 power but we don't know how much energy it will cost yet

it said 85 in gyms 80 in trainer battles I believe, I feel like unless it's also 45 energy it won't really be an upgrade to disarming voice.. even 50 energy for 80 DMG would barely increase the DPE while reducing your speed

So weird they made sparkling aria a fairy move... it's a water move in the main games.. I was hoping it would be a faster charging fast move like they did with water sharuken.

Primarina has always been *so close* to dominant in Master League, but really needed a good fast-charging charge move to match those slow-as-hell heavy hitters in Waterfall and Charm, and now we got it.

We don't have any Fast moves in the game for Primarina. It has Water Gun, but Water Gun alone is a$$

@@naturalharmoniagropius4486 Geomancy doesn’t really make sense for Primarina, which leaves Fairy Wind, and I kinda feel like FW is on a few too many Fairies right now. I think they need to legacy Fairy Wind on something that comes up for Community Day.

Its trash in GL and UL, the only pvp iv you want for it is hundo for Master league

The only logical reason I can think of to make another 80 power charge attack is to make it's energy slightly higher, and therefore have a slightly worse but usable alternative if you miss the com day/don't have an elite TM

Sparkling Area is an Exclusive Move For Primarina! Sounds interesting it might give her something better as a charge move! I all ready check this Mon don’t get NO Good Fast Moves base on the move pool from the main game series! Sad!
