Did it affect the rubber window seals or anything like that? Sometimes wax can actually turn them white or discolored.

Essentially, it depends on how much you put on and how evenly your coats are, but yes.

I never quite understood putting gloss on something if you want to preserve the patina. Wouldn't a flat finish be more appropriate?

Not if you want it to have a gloss finish. This company does have a matte finish kit too.

It’s just a ratio, the cup makes it a little easier, but you can also think of it as ounces. Like 8 ounces to 1 ounces or 8 cups to 1 cup. The ratio still comes out the same.
