Devs really need to work on the map in general. Remove all of the long and unrealistic railway bridges criss-crossing everywhere etc. Also, work on deeper and more varied sea-beds

Agreed. There also used to be some sea plants n corals, now there's nothing... Sure, it shouldn't be literally everywhere like it used to be back then. Seeing those whales, seals and penguins not only be in the arctic would also be nice. Also, it's kinda weird how explosed batteries are waterproof. Ships that sink in Stormworks basically never lose power, it remains lit forever. Also, some kinda crush depth mechanic for vehicles that'd require you to build them strong (weight blocks like with armor again?) or avoid dangerous depth.

@hunormagyar1843Batteries don’t break around water, electricity and water can cause complications but water is a very poor electrical conductor so it generally won’t cause any problems especially to just a battery.

maybe something like tunel under ocean floor? it would be cool plus you could go just in straight line to arcrtic and dont worry about tsunami or derailing

@A_youtube_channel_ So what's the real life fuss about waterproofing, say, mobile phones or cameras? Also I'm pretty sure I've heard of U-boot batteries getting submerged due to a breach and them causing some kinda acid or gas to rise from 'em, that probably was not good neither for the crew _or_ the batteries... Electric vehicles burning underwater... Lithium burns underwater, explodes even potentially. Sure, it's not directly exposed I suppose but...

I think this is a good enough excuse for you to start making a really big submarine finally. Could envision it could be either OMUA or ALTA, or you could build a base version and adapt it so both can have a version.

Building 100m long subs and only having about 500m/700M depth was one of the biggest pains in SW for me. But now...Now The Astute can dive like she really would. Mods really were the best change to the game.

I love this mod. It would work great with the crush depth mod. I dont remember who made it though. Also 454, you should make a bathyscaphe for exploring the deeper oceans
